Ekiti and oyo are working. Ekiti governor is doing one very long bridge and has upgraded two colleges to universities

Osun is dancing. And that is what the indigenes need from him. As long he makes them happy, he will have his second term
It's funny sometimes when all the info you get is just in one direction and yet claim to know. If you have ever been to Osun of late then you won't be writing this gibberish. Next time, write about what you know and not just for writing sakes.

Influx of illegal migrants into South West States have tied their hands.. some of you sleep under the bridges in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo etc. when there are empty mansions in your villages.
Yorubaland is under siege.

One man cannot govern Ogun state effectively.

It's too big. It should be divided into two and see how development will spring up

I am willing to bet anything that any 3 of the SouthhWestt governors, apart from the unserious Osun dancing governor, are doing far better than all of the SouthhEastt governors combined, in all the good indications/indexes, only that those from that side are insensibly loud. Did you guys see how one KingAzubuike said obi cubana is richer than Otedola and Adenuga combined? The dunce almost added Dangote or prolly thinks Arthur Eze can fractionate Dangote's wealth.

That's a glimmer of the extent of their loudness. Don't take them serious. It's very recently we read that teachers are soon to head into industrial action/strike in Abia. That alone begs the question what they do in that state at all. Even such news of strike are not spoken of with the dancing governor.

Honestly your observations are valid.

Those states can be currently classified as Economically paralyzed zone, Deadweight territory , Idle backwater and a Growth-resistant region

South West can fit into niger state so what's your point

Onitsha has more built up area than Ibadan city

Ibadan city is different from Ibadan

Really..what is Ibadan city..and what is Ibadan ? How are they different?

My point is that a house on half plot of land will look bigger than a similar sized house on 2 plots.

Yes Southwest can fit into Niger state, that is why Niger state looks empty compared to all Southwest combined. Same way the concentrated projects in the SE looks to be more than the more spread out projects in the SW.

Imagine the road between Ogbomoso and Ibadan in oyo state, or Ibadan and Saki, show us the south eastern state that has a comparable length of road?

And ,roads are priced in kilometres weather in the North, South or west.

Oga Ibadan is a tribe of the Yoruba ethnic nations with about 11 lga or so

Ibadan city is a city in a few of those 11 lgas

So you know Ibadan more than those of us that lives there?

Did you see me mention Onitsha? I don't know the size of Onitisha metropolitan area and honestly I don't care, it is you that have a constant need to show that you are better and bigger than others, to me that is not relevant.

I don't know where you developed your own concept of the size of ibadan, I will however point to you two major roads that criss-crossed the city, The express road starting from toll gate and ending at Akinyele on the road to oyo town, that is longer than the distance between some gaps between cities in the east, so is the road that started from new garage and ended up at closs to toll gate on ibadan/ife road.

You could drive for nearly an hour in many direction and still remain within the Ibadan metropolis.

It is no surprise that at a time, Ibadan was considered the biggest town in Africa.

There is no ethnic tribe called Ibadan, the people of Ibadan are yorubas . It is a city so big that a time, some people were agitating for it to be a state.

Well since you brought that up

generally considered to have a larger concentration of buildings compared to Ibadan. Onitsha is also known for having a higher density of multi-story buildings in Nigeria. While Ibadan is the largest city by land area in Nigeria, Onitsha is ranked second in of built-up urban area.
Ibadan:
Is the third-largest city in Nigeria by population, with a population of 3,649,000 as of 2021 and nearly 4 million within its metropolitan area.
It is the largest city by land area in Nigeria, spanning 3,080 square kilometers.
Onitsha:
Occupies the second-largest built-up urban area in Nigeria, suring Kano, Abuja, and Ibadan.
Is renowned for having the highest concentration of multi-story buildings in Nigeria.
Key takeaway: While Ibadan is larger in of land area, Onitsha has a more densely built-up urban area, particularly in of multi-story buildings.

So onitisha is congested, with a lot of mid rise buildings.

Ibadan is more spread out, with a bigger population as well as having the biggest land area in the country.

It still buttresses my original point, which is because the SE is small, every project done there looks big.

The SW being bigger, bigger projects there may look smaller than if it had been located in the SE.

So it is wrong to assume the governors in SW are not doing anything.

Sw governors are the worst in the country. All they know is too over tax their people and release their inflated IGR and statistics while their followers celebrate in ignorance.

Their people are more interested in attacking otti, fubara , soludo while their incompetent governors does nothing and their states continue to decay.

Ogun state governor is the worst governor in Nigeria. Osun state is busy dancing. Ekiti, ondo and oyo are doing nothing.

Okay, so tell me the biggest city in Nigeria then.

It's funny, Port Harcourt's probably the biggest and richest city in the whole SS and SE, but you never see anyone from there comparing it to other places.

Kano's one of the biggest and richest in Africa, but you don't see people from there bragging about it.

Same with Benin City, one of the oldest cities in Nigeria – I've never seen anyone from there boasting about it here.

But it's always something with our SE developers, every week they're telling us how their cities are bigger and their people richer and smarter.

They act superior and then get mad when people don't agree.

So, which city is actually the biggest in Nigeria?
