Burnaboy brings more publicity to the whole African continent right now.

Than the whole presidents and and their cabinets of all the African countries put together.

He is a Nigerian resource, if you ask me, he is top on the Charts just like crude oil.

But our clueless government would not even recognize opportunity when they see one.

We would rather organize Shiloh concerts and be praying on an empty stomach

While the likes of Burnaboy Take their national money making efforts to the United Kingdom and the USA

The same way we were exporting crude oil and buying petrol

Now we are exporting our raw afrobeats talents and paying the revenue to United kingdom and the USA.

Tomorrow they will pack themselves on the private jet looking for foreign investors abroad....when our own talents are actually the foreign investors abroad.

Incomparable at all, oil exportation and home musicians playing abroad, your analysis is highly illogical.

Is it the govt that's organizing Shiloh?
Is Bishop Oyedepo not a private individual as Burna Boy?
Aren't both of them doing their own thing?

Face your govt Mr.

We've been begging for this since 2008 when nairaland started to get watered down by trolls on rampage.

comment with respect and you'll not be banned.

Another will be the downvote button

That's not true. Staying at the top is much harder because people have high expectations of you. You'll have to work extra hard to stay at the top and remain relevant. That's why most musicians don't last when they get there.

It's not only nonsense comments that get banned these days, some seemingly innocuous comments also attract a ban!

For instance I made a comment on a thread in the Health section where I quoted someone about 2 or 3 days ago and asked "Are you a medical doctor?" and I instantly got a ban

Naaaa

It’s more easier to get to the top than staying at the top. You have little to nothing to lose aiming for the top, but a lot to lose if you slip.

Lemme break it down for you …. You will have to have hits upon hits to get to the top…. Something Kiss Daniel…Rema… Teckno … and so many others have been unable to do despite hit after hits….

Once you get to the Top … you can easily jump on any song you want to and it will help you a lot …. Reason why Davido and Burna are getting bigger than Wizkid….

Wizkid doesn’t jump on people’s songs without being paid 1st
