Last Update: 27/4/2024 - your package arrived at local airport.
Status: Package not delivered at the end of customer protection period hence dispute opened and refund made by aliexpress on 22/01/2025.
Moved on and ordered another of such item with aliexpress' choice bundle order method.
Surprise: on 2/04/2025 - I received a call from post office only to get there and realised that it was this forgotten order that had eventually arrived.
Thereafter, I received another call from post office to collect another forgotten order made in December.
Lesson: whenever you make any aliexpress order with that cheap or untracked shipping option.
Keep in mind - it will still arrive abeit much longer. In my case I considered them lost in transit got refunded and reordered elsewhere but we learn everyday.

Most of the sellers on ae don't have a store.when u place order,they source for it and send to u,that's y some don't ship your item in a week.

I bought Soundcore Motion + around May last year from Anker official store on AliExpress. Have it in mind that anything you buy from their store comes through NIPOST. I think there are resellers on AliExpress that ship through Speedaf but with higher costs.

As at 2021 the allowable rate for personal goods is ₦50,000 (equivalent to $100 then). Any litem valued about this benchmark attracts customs duty. There's no evidence, however, that the rate has been changed.

Besides, import duty is always high. I someone said he once got a call from the PO in respect of a laptop someone sent to him, and the caller told him to come with 40k to pick it up. That was before the current istration.

Ok, thanks for the clarification, that might translate to above #160k in today's exchange, how this country has degraded so much in just a short period of time is highly concerning!

If heavy stuff, shipping is always high because it averages around N15k-N20k per KG.

People in different countries have made the same complaints also so I don't know why aliexpress get delayed and temu goes swift(so I heard)

My temu experience

Even though shipping was faster,

I realized the tracking numbers don't end with R

Just NG and numbers,(how battery sellers on AliExpress ship to me also)

Which means they are using speedaf direct route,

And the shipping was a bit faster,

Customs Clearance on the other hand was still on the Same level.

Some took as much as 2-3 days to clear which is normal for AliExpress packages too.

Infact some AliExpress packages too clear same day or next day..

Not sure temu is doing anything special about customs clearance

It's just the speedaf method of shipping making clearance faster,

It has to do with fewer items on that method,than AliExpress method that involves bulk items.
