Salewa97: The boy was used and dumped by Obi and his obidients. He didn't get up to 30k for his effort. Obidients are just whipping up lies to cover their failure. That boy never left the street 4 Likes 1 Share |

A video of him went viral, and people started sending him money and promising aids. But that fame came with a dark side. Some local “area boys” got jealous, thinking they deserved a cut of his cash. Fast forward to January 2025, and things took a nasty turn. These guys allegedly kidnapped Quadri, handed him over to the police, and next thing you know, he’s slapped with armed robbery charges—accused of stealing phones and money with cutlasses alongside people he didn’t even know. The kicker? He was a minor at the time, but they locked him up in Kirikiri Correctional Centre with adults. Many, including his lawyers, are convinced the charges were cooked up to punish him for not “settling” those thugs. Here’s some good news, though! Inibehe Effiong, a human rights lawyer who’s been fighting for Quadri, just shared that the Nigerian Correctional Service is bringing Quadri to court tomorrow, Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 9 AM. His case was originally set for April 28, but Effiong’s team and the Director of Public Prosecutions pushed to move it up, and the court agreed. They’ll be at the Apapa Magistrate Court in Ajegunle—Sikiru Adagun Courthouse, Court No. 9. Effiong’s thrilled about this step forward and will be there with Quadri’s family. He’s keeping the details about why this is happening for the courtroom, but he’s hopeful, saying, “History will vindicate the just.” A video of him went viral, and people started sending him money and promising aids. May Allah reward those who are behind this boy's predicament and those who are on the rescue mission accordingly. Politics should not be done this way. I do not know why someone will make up his or her mind to ruin another person's life just because of his or her own political interest. Your opponent today may be in your team tomorrow. Philipponzaghi: The boy should be a lesson to you and your family that even a 6 years old boy from your family can be locked up in kirikiri prison. It should be a lesson to you and your family that Nigeria's legal system is rotten. It should be a lesson to you and your family that no one is safe from injustice; even any member of your family, including you, can be locked up like a common goat unjustly. 2 Likes |

Peter Obi was massively maligned by his people as a failed leader during his tenure as anambra governor But today his kinsmen want to rebrand and repackage him as a fake product to be sold to unaware Nigerians and youths who are not privy of his mediocre performance as governor So what there is nothing like a good cause attached to obi presidential agenda. I see no reason dragging Th!efnubu to this matter. He did not send those thugs. We Nigerians are our own problem. We fight the government over what we're guilty of. Someone got cash gifts and some individuals probably egbon adugbos who feel entitled to his cash gifts conived and locked him up. His offence? He did not share his gifts with them. These are grown men punishing a child for not sharing his biscuits with them. Yet we blame the president who has bigger fishes to fry. Shame on Nigerians. Locking up a minor amongst hardened criminals, all for what? Mind you this is no politics but greed fueled hatred on the minor. More reason I left the hood for better living. Imagine someone accusing you of oppression because you are a freelancer who turns on his generator daily to do his jobs. Nigeria continue sleeping. 2 Likes |

The emergent "human rights advocates" didn't fight for the domestic workers detained by Jonathan's wife since the person involves isn't from the ruling party, Yoruba, Lagos or Tinubu associates. Jonathan's family is one of their messiahs. 4 Likes 2 Shares |
