DaddyCoool: That is why you have to have a low IQ to believe what Trump said. As at 1988, Japan was buying American made planes (Boeing). Japan was buying American made military weapons in 1988. At at 1988, As at 1988 when Trump granted that interview, numerous US companies were operating in Japan. You just have to be able to think for yourself check out facts for yourself and leave behind whatever Trump says. And I already showed you that it wasn't only the US that drove Iraq out of Kuwait. What is difficult to understand there? If Kuwait is to pay the US 25%, then they should also pay every other country 25% that were part of the coalition that drove Iraq out of Kuwait. Also, the US should be asking 25% of from south Korea because they also helped south Korea drive out North Korea during the Korea war. Kosovo should also pay the US and other Nato member countries 25% for helping them bomb Yugoslavia during the kosovo war. The US should also pay 25% to Mexico for annexing large part of their country during the US-Mexico war. You think say na you get sense . So, you think Jack Ma was arrested by China for buying US goods? Lol. You are a big clown 😅. Do you know how many Chinese companies whose CEO buy goods from the US? You are such a dunce! Lol

DaddyCoool: Lastly, the US should pay 25% to all other countries that came to it's aid when they invaded Iraq after 9/11 terrorist attack in the US that killed more than 2900 Americans. You and Trump can go collect 25% of oil proceeds from Kuwait na. Nor be to dey Nairaland dey open mouth waaaah |

Amayabor1:You are such a faithful idiot.. thanks for proving that you have nothing upstairs and will amount to little. You also proved that you can never think critically, and will forever remain an armchair critique. Ode since you have nothing effective to offer, you just defeated all your rants , thereby summing everything you have been saying to zero. Ode even tried to postulate intelligence by initially saying " I'll seat down and talk to other partners" but I saw through his facade, that this fool have nothing upstairs. Thanks for letting us know. Since you have nothing effective to contribute, forever remain silent. Trump this trump that. Asked baba wetin you go run, baba turn to jmbecile |

Amayabor1: Amayabor1: Sir, you'd seem to be the one that's a real dunce. How many times will you be told, sir, that the war was 90/91 while the interview was 1988. And I don't know how you don't know this: US seeking UN resolutions for the wars was to legitimize her action, NOT that they needed any help at all. That's why they can condemn Russia today for unilaterally invading a sovereign nation. All the countries you mentioned weren't living high on the hog like Kuwait. Kuwait had more oil money than they knew what to do with. Sir you seem to be confusing multi-nationals having franchises in a counyry and a country manufacturing and shipping to another country. Do you know the difference? How many things were/are made in US and shipped to Japan or China for mass consumption. The answer is almost zero. Who said Jack Ma was arrested for buying American? I said Jack Ma case illustrates how China treats it's citizens, how you can't compare to the openness in US. I hope I answered your questions sir. Anymore dumb questions, let me know |

Dreamhans1: This fool who is stuck in one small hole in Nigeria and who has never left the shores of Nigeria and and who doesn't know how international politics and trade works is trying so hard to appear intelligent. I will give you some education so you stop fooling yourself. No country, I repeat, no country wakes up one day and impose tarrifs on other countries. As a leader of a country, if you feel another country or countries is taking advantage of your country, you open channels of communication for dialogue. The issues will be trashed out and preferably, a trade deal is signed. That trade deal will be binding on both countries such that, no matter who becomes leaders in those countries, the trade deal will remain binding. And a trade deal can be renegotiated. You gave the example of China. What I tried explaining to you fool is that, Trump can't coerce China to buy more of American goods. It doesn't work that way. Let's say China promised Trump to buy more of American goods. That promise is not binding as China is not under any obligation to buy more of American goods by mere words of mouth. Trump can't drag china to WTO today because China failed to keep to it's promise to buy more of American goods. If however Trump had signed a trade deal with China, then China would be under obligation to buy those American products and if China default, America can drag China to World trade organization (WTO) and if WTO mediation fails, then the Americans can retaliate with tarrifs. That is how the world order works. It is called world order for a reason. It is an order. There are laid down procedures and guidelines for doing things. Not this knee jerk approach and chaos of Trump. And this world order was primarily established by the US. It allows for amicable settlement of trade disputes without necessarily rocking the international market and world supply chains. It is these knee jerk approach and uncertainty from Trump that has caused the US stock market to lose close to 6 trillion dollars. Let me give you an example; during Trump's first tenure, Trump wasn't satisfied with the trade deal that the US , Mexico and Canada had. He renegotiated with these countries and a new trade deal wad signed (NAFTA). Now, he is criticizing this same trade deal his government signed and he has gone against this trade deal to impose tarrifs on Mexico and Canada. So, I want to ask you a question; If Trump can go against the trade deal that his own government signed with Mexico and Canada, what makes you feel China can uphold a promise (a promise, not a trade deal) to buy more American products? Trump went against a trade deal his own govt signed. But your issue is that China failed to keep to it's promise to buy more American goods. Between a trade deal and a promise, which is more binding? Can't you see how stupid you are? What about the EU, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, UK, Nigeria etc and other countries Trump imposed tarrifs on without first ironing out any issues he has with these countries through negotiations? You think world trade is by gra gra? For example, he imposed 46% tarrifs on imports from Vietnam because, according to him, Vietnam imposes 90% tarrifs on US goods. Dunce like you believed him. The average tarrifs on US goods by Vietnam is 9.6%. Which country imposes 90% tarrifs on another country? If you understand all these, you wouldn't be asking a stupid question about what would I have done differently. Well, he can continue with the tarrifs. The Tarrifs will be paid by US citizens. You can continue to bark from your shit-hole like a dog. Peace ✌️ |

Amayabor1:After bawling like a bull you finally come to your senses. After showing so much stupidity it's hard to reason with you. But I'll try cos I'm the bigger man here. The same you noticed that trump had a sit together with xi of china during his first tenure. Maybe you didn't noticed that the of their agreement was never implemented by china. REALTIME ECONOMICS China bought none of the extra $200 billion of US exports in Trump's trade deal Chad P. Bown (PIIE) Minor revisions and updates to the figures in the original post of February 8, 2022 have been made in light of the subsequent releases of US export data. In the end, China bought only 58 percent of the US exports it had committed to purchase under the agreement, not even enough to reach its import levels from before the trade war.[1] Put differently, China bought none of the additional $200 billion of exports Trump's deal had promised. Trump's "phase one" agreement with his "very, very good friend" President Xi Jinping was not a total washout. The deal did halt his spiraling trade war. And several of its elements should be kept, notably China's commitments to remove technical barriers to US farm exports, respect intellectual property, and open up its financial services CHINA WAS NEVER ON TRACK TO MEET ANY OF THE ADDITIONAL PURCHASE COMMITMENTS The phase one agreement committed China to increase its purchases of certain US goods and services in 2020 and 2021 by at least $200 billion over 2017 levels (figure 1).[2] China agreed to buy at least $227.9 billion of US exports in 2020 and $274.5 billion in 2021, for a total of $502.4 billion over the two years.[3] The agreement also established legal commitments for a defined set of manufacturing, services, You still went Trump's way by fnally imposing tariff.after negotiations. As for NAFTa, trump is partially wrong for placing tariff on his home base supply chain without having a robust homegrown supply chain. Though I understand his position on the Chinese using the North America trade agreement to skip tariff, I guess you aren't smart enough to know that. And that's every wrong of Mexico, trump should look for other way to address that. What I'll do differently, is after certain really gentle tariff is subtly make sure that goods from nations I hoped to tariffed hardly make it out of the ports and all entry points. Using bogus bureaucracy, intellectual theft, national security. I'll just borrow a leaf from china playbook. Finally, trying to brag that you've left the shores of Nigeria makes you important, just shows that you have underlying insecurity issues. Even an jmbecile have left the shores of Nigeria. |

DaddyCoool: Lol. You are just an anyhow person. You have said so many lies during this exchange and I have always countered you with evidence but you keep running from pillar to post. 1. On Kuwait You seem to be very slow. Let me repeat myself. Before 1988, during 1988 when Trump did that interview, after 1988, after the iraq- Kuwait war and up till this 2025, Kuwait doesn't owe America nothing. Kuwait will not pay 25% of their oil proceeds to America. Kuwait will continue to sell their oil and keep 100% of their money. If you and Trump feel Kuwait is too rich and so should give the US some of their money, both you and Trump will choke because it wouldn't happen. He has been president before and he is president now, still Kuwait hasn't paid shi shi. I already showed you that it was a coalition of countries that chased Iraq out of Kuwait and not US alone. Every other of your babbling doesn't matter. Same way how a coalition of countries invaded Iraq and not the US alone. The US usually seek UN resolutions so that they can get a coalition of countries to follow them to war. That was what happened in Korean war, invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, Vietnam war etc. So many countries have lost soldiers due to American wars. Well, whatever you say, you can go collect 25% from Kuwait. 2. On Japan You are actually a pathetic liar like Trump. Trump once said Japan doesn't open their economy for US businesses to operate (which you also said). I then showed you evidences of American companies operating in Japan. Your argument now shifted to "American export almost nothing to japan and china". Now, look at this picture below. In January 2025, the US exported 6 billion dollars worth of goods to Japan. This is January alone. Is this what you call almost zero? I just hope I am not arguing with a mentally challenged individual. The major issue Trump has with japan is Japanese cars that come into America. And it is not Japan's fault that Americans prefer Japanese cars. Japanese cars are far more reliable than American cars all over the world. Every country has comparative advantage. Americans are good with airplanes (boeing) and fighter jets and military equipment and japan buys alot of these from America. The Japanese and Germans are good with cars and Americans buy these from japan and . What is the wailing and crying all about? Even in Nigeria, people prefer Japanese and German cars to American cars. For china, look at the figures for last year. This is what you call almost zero? Lol For china, I can't post everything because you can't more than 4 images on Nairaland. But the list is long. If you say American has trade deficits with japan and china, that's a different argument. But to say that china and japan imports almost nothing from the US shows you are really slow.
