Nice A lot of Nigerian youth still assume that academic success is automatically a path to success in life. In some cases it is but not all the time. Academic failure is also not an automatic path to failure in life. They assume that because they have a university degree, that means they should have the best of the world. He sounds very intelligent. It's likely he has a learning disability such as dyslexia that was interfering with his testing. Back then, such impediments were not recognised and the student would be criticised for being dull, instead of adjusting the teaching ethod to suit the student.
