Definitely, and the Toyotas are over hyped leading to price inflation,
If you want to get a Camry with your budget you’ll be stuck with the 2003-2007, I don’t think it’s wise to get that old car for 5million.
And trying to see Camry (2008-2012) “in good condition” below 5mil is not really possible.
So if 5mils of your max budget I think the Accord 8th gen is your best bet.

Good evening Chief, I’ve got an additional question which is to know if cars are cheaper online compared to car shops…

Cos it’s gonna be my first purchase and I don’t wanna fall into the wrong trap.

Is there a right trap?

Buying car, especially Nigerian used is a gamble, best to just find a honest person, getting car from the original owner is usually the best route, cause they’ll tell you all that needs fixing, but dealers just assume all is well and tell that to potential buyers, to attract them, so it’s usually just best to with a good mechanic with a scan tool, whichever option you pick.

Is Honda Accord really a good car?
What about the legs?
What about engine and transmission?
What about the cooling system?
I like their designs but afraid of reliability.
I want to try one out

Sincerely speaking I was using a corolla 06 as at last year, sold it and I got an accord 09 from my friend that wanted to upgrade, ever since then I have been a lover of Honda products.they are durable .
Concerning the legs I have not had any issue because I ask my mechanic to check whenever I go for servicing

What about fuel consumption compared to Toyota counterpart?
that depends on the engine size I use a 2.4 engine and I use 11litres daily from ifako ijaiye to Vi daily Which is still very okay.if you use a civic you might use lesser so engine size matters

What about fuel consumption compared to Toyota counterpart?
if you drive the same type of engine size with a Toyota and both are in good shape same fuel consumption is expected

Europe car? forget it. The second hand value is not good. American spec cars full everywhere. If he decides to sell the car after 2-3 years, at least see reasonable amount from American spec (corolla, camry, honda accord etc).
