Founder of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and leader of BIM, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, has defended former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike while blaming Siminalayi Fubara for his removal from office.

Following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, Uwazuruike stated that Fubara was the architect of his own misfortune, insisting that the crisis could have been avoided if he had honored his agreement with Wike, now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

“Whoever advised Fubara to fight Wike, who made him governor, did not advise him well,” Uwazuruike wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.

He added: “If you know you are a politician and you are approached to do a dirty job which your conscience doesn’t want you to do at that moment, say ‘I won’t do it’ or ‘I can’t do it’, that makes you a gentleman.”

Uwazuruike also blamed Fubara for not listening to the counsel of prominent personalities like former Ekiti State Governor Fayose. “If Fubara had listened to the counsel of some people like Fayose, he would not have fallen into this temptation. It would have been avoided.”

“All of these things happening in Rivers State could have been avoided if one party had kept his own part of the promise. This is very common in Southeast and South South. When somebody will bring you from obscurity and made you a governor and at the end of the day, you refused to keep your own part of the bargain. It is not good.

“Some people will say you are voted by the masses, which masses, if nobody gave you the chance or the ticket of the party, the masses would not have seen you to vote for you.

“You want to play a card and you have forgotten that as a civil servant, the highest you could go is becoming the permanent secretary. Somebody brought you out and made you the governor, you turned around to make him a bad guy, it is unjust.”

In a scathing critique of Nigeria’s political system, Uwazuruike stated, “There is no better governor in Nigeria who doesn’t steal money because the country is corrupt. Wike is not the only devil in Nigeria politics, all the other governors are devils and corrupt. No one should play the victim card.”

It is common all over Nigeria and not just the SS or SE.

Don't let anyone deceive you, every Nigerian politican starting from local government councillors all the way to the National Assembly all have political godfathers.

Fubara, a civil servant, should have not accepted to be governor if he knew he wasn't going to play ball or stick to the agreement he signed. We weren't there when they were g the so called agreement.

I read that Wike had to convince two strong politician from Rivers state to step down for Fubara, and they all campaigned for Fubara only for him to turn around and cut them off.

Exactly.
You said it as it is without mincing words.
Don't know why people are shouting Wikes name.
Who is Fubara in of Rivers politics?
What Amaechi failed to achieve through Dakuku, you got it on a platter of gold and allowed fools to make you derail.
Ask Magnus how well he struggled, and yet couldn't get it.
Better go and mend fences before expiration of six months.

Uwazuruike is simply saying that in Nigerian politics, loyalty gets you power, and betrayal leads to your downfall. 🙆

All of you ing this nonsense, go and read this article: Imagine Trump Suspended The Governor And State Assembly In New York and be ashamed. We copied our constitution from the US but we practice a different thing and wonder why we are where we are. In a democracy like ours, true loyalty is to the people and not to any godfather.

What is the agreement between Wike and Fubara that people keep talking of

Anyone who has seen it should share it let others read and be properly informed

The only video in public space is where Wike was saying he won't interfere with his successor once he leaves office

Agreement is an agreement - such a foolish consistency adored by slaves. I guess we should still submit or commonwealth to the British by this maxim.

If an agreement is detrimental to the people, the constitution, convictions, oath of office and personal contrition. Should it still be honored?

Personally this saga has opened my eyes to the multifaceted nature of our problems.

Nigerians don't want a good society, they just want someone they know to access the treasury, by hook or crook and share. David Cameron couldn’t have said it better- “fantastically corrupt.”

How we are not vexed that people can boldly speak of putting others in office, like we run an oligarchy or monarchy is bemusing. Instead we vilify the unwilling or repentant subject for turning a new leaf.

Even the 3 wisemen in the Bible didn’t honor their promises to Herod because of his inimical intent. So what do we actually pray for concerning Nigeria as Christians and Muslims? To change whose heart?

Just the other day in Lagos, a group of men voiced their position beyond the veil as being the grundnorm of authority in the Lagos assembly and no one sees the inanity in their statement.
Same in kogi, an ex-governor uses the current governor as a vassal and no one sees anything wrong with it.
And now port harcourt.

This is sad.

We lack norms, we lack values, we lack integrity.

Think for a minute, if Wike’s angst is for better schools, hospitals, jobs, welfare of his constituents or personal gains.

Fubara's error was rebelling against wike few months after his swearing in without any strategy on how to win the war he started.

If he was wise, he should have used his first term to play along, whilst secretly building his own structure. Then come out and rebel 2 years into his second tenure. So at least by then, even if the battle doesn't go his way, he won't have anything to loose.

Only in Nigeria would someone legalize an illegality and call it “agreement” and others would it. Anyways, even fools grow old.

Wike 97 : 4 Fubara

How come people are not counting scores again? 😂

Meanwhile, Fubara should be grateful to Tinubu for preventing his obvious impeachment. Jagaban loves him so much.

This State of Emergency is a blessing in disguise for him and his bitchass niggas.

I hope he turns a good boy before the 6 months elapse.

All these people ing Fubara...it is until the day you entrust your money or business to a trusted friend who turns around to claim ownership that you will understand why Wike is so bitter about the betrayal he go from Fubara.

How can you get into government newly and within 6 months you're already fighting the person who brought you from obscurity?!

I stand with wike too

Fubara has exhibited every single sign of uselessness.

Even if he has issues with the 27 state house of rep .
What of the federal house of reps
Senators
Local government chairmen.

Y is no one sticking his neck for Fubara

So Y do I stand with Wike.

Because of the Don Nwani Era.
I was in Omoku, we saw what went on.

We all warned against Wike, but the disdain for Amaechi was more than the baggage Wike carried.
Today Rivers people how far.
Some of us were nearly lynched.

Enjoy your Wike, you can't sow the wind and expect not to reap the whirlwind.

Is that why anybody Igbos s always fail? Na badluck or curse?

Most of you Yoruba kids and youths of today always think and talk like misinformed kids you lots are.

To you uninformed Yoruba kids, Presidential election in Nigeria started in 2015.

Now let me educate you for free so you won't continue to brag foolishly or remain uninformed.

From the time Nigeria got independence, Igbos ran the show with Hausa, go back and read your history to every word I say.

Yorubas has always been in opposition crying till 2015 that Tinubu betrayed Goodluck Jonathan and the whole South to align with The North to dislodge Goodluck.

Before then, Yoruba have always been in opposition crying and organizing protests in Lagos.

No Yoruba chosen candidate has ever emerged President until 2023 that Tinubu snatched it from a weak Buhari.

Zik floored Awolowo severally and Awolowo had to go to jail for making noise lol.

Igbos still called the shots, after the civil war, Igbos were begged and pampered with a Vice Presidential slot in 1976 which Alex Ekwueme became Vice President to Shagari.

Ekwueme was already inline to become President before unfortunate Buhari disrupted it with his military coup and returned Nigeria back to military regime.

1999 came, Yorubas nominated Olu Falae for President, Igbos and North rejected Falae and chose Olusegun Obasanjo instead and made him President.

Tinubu kept running from pillar to post desperately looking for a ladder to help him climb to Presidential power and that ladder he later got through weak Buhari that never even liked Tinubu but foolishly allowed Tinubu through through the help of El Rufai.

And a baby like you is here chestbeating and bragging without wisdom and information, all these Yoruba online miscreants self lol

Before I drop pen, please use Google and ask the below questions:

1.) Who is the first Indigenous Governor General of Nigeria?

2.) Who is the first Civilian President of Nigeria?

3.) Who is the first Civilian Vice President of Nigeria?

4.) Who is the first Military Head of State of Nigeria?

5.) Who is the first Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria?

6.) Who is the first Senate President of Nigeria?

7.) Who was the first documented richest man in Nigeria?

8.) Who was the first documented billionaire in Nigeria?

All these positions were all occupied by Igbos and yet you are here making empty noise that Yorubas are known for lolz cheesy

Whatever a Yoruba man aspires to become in Nigeria today, an Igbo man has first became that very thing many years ago, so get that into your arrogant uninformed skull

Is FUBARA A SAINT?
IF SO HOW IS HE ABLE TO COVER WIKE financial parole in rivers bcus I sensed that is why Wike rewarded him with governor.
The hate of Wike wont let some people say the truth.
Wike wont have choose ant general for Governor if not covering some dirty deals done together..
Fubara is like a Muslim who married a Christian and told her family that he won't middle into her religion. But after marriage force her to convert to Muslim against agreement.
THAT IS EVIL. cunny. The fight between the two is not for the betterment of rivers but for their pocket.
No reasonable human being will labour for your success and you expect him not to demand anything in return..
Even U.S doesn't you for free.
Fubara knew what Wike will demand after swearing in. He just wanted to be an ingrate.
Nothing clean about Nigeria politics.
What Wike is using against him now is political strength.

Fubara could have waited until he has strong political strength.

NOW WIKE will still take what he is demanding due to the new . Don't forget that Tinubu is in charge now..
Fubara and Wike has to come to tinubu's and conditions if they want to be relevant to power in rivers..
Some people think it is by gra gra...
Tinubu is using military & monarch way of ruling. Not to even talk of his brilliant IQ in politics..
So no need of war except you want to waste people and resources.
