This news is a big lie and false hope. The nimc portal is scrap. Once u pay and want to modify it after ing the documents and u click submit. It would show u error,value something .both for change of name,dob,etc.its the same error message.

I ed my NIN years ago when i was in school. I didn't get the details then because of my busy schedules.

For years now, av been trying to get it, but it's been one center recommendation to another. Some even claimed they could not find it on the portal. And the system would deny me access to for a new one because of my thumb print match. Have been using my wife's ed bank . I even went as far as asking my friends to open for me using their details.

Even as much as I am please with this development which I have done my name modifications of recent, but that can't be said for Date of Birth modification. It is practically impossible to do it by yourself, the process is very cumbersome and most likely reserve for the NIMC official to handle it.
As I type this, I have paid 16340 for Date of Birth modification, where I was ask to get NPC attestation reference number. Went to NPC office in Uyo where I paid 5k for the attestation, only for me to input the reference number from the attestation and it keep telling me Data not found.

How are we sure the NIMC app is safe with all the numerous breeches?

I got npc attestation letter for date of birth ń I inputed it on nimc date of birth modification... It worked...

Not like that. When you input your data/details in unauthorised websites that means you are unknowingly given them your personal data which could be dangerous.
