TimeManager: Kindly read this below and judge Reacting to news of Wadume’s release from prison, Executive Director, Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Center, (CISLAC), Auwalu Rafsanjani, described the release “ Misplacement of judicial justice system in Nigeria .” He said “Those who are supposed to received stiff penalty for atrocities they committed are being pampered and given all sorts of leverages to come back and continue with their atrocities. “What has happened just goes to show how istrative justice system in Nigeria is not actually responding to justice in Nigeria. “Somebody who has committed these degree of atrocities, you are now treating him like a king; this is going to motivate and encourage more people to commit these crimes because he will come back and continue to terrorize the public. This in an ideal society should not happen.” Rafsanjani laments that “People who are innocent are languishing in prison, some of them have spent 20 years, 15 years in prison without trial. “Now somebody who has committed these huge atrocities against innocent people is being given few years of jail term and is now released. “I think that the Nigerian state should be responsible for the level of insecurity, kidnappings, terrorism that is going on in the country because they have not taken necessary steps to deal with that and I think this is frustrating for the Nigerian people who have suffered from the consequences of kidnappings, armed robbery and other criminals terrorizing the Nigerian state.” 1 Like |

Softmirror:You're struggling, and I think I will just rest it here. Wadume was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced to jail, he was released after the expiration of his jail term. Whether the sentence was weighty enough is another kettle of fish. You can't just smear the judiciary out of your mere imagination just because a lot of bandwagons do it. Next time, get your facts right and stop raising falsehoods. -Kiss the truth! 3 Likes |

TimeManager: I am not struggling. You thought you could hook me with my choice of words and that is 'JUDICIARY'. A major reason you were specific with highlighting 'JUDICIARY' in your request for a prove. I have given you one along side a commentary. 2 Likes |

Softmirror: The judiciary does not and has never released anyone in the name of being "repentants." The release of so-called "repentants" is always an act of the executive, and it is only the executive that has the authority to do so. Why can't you behave like a sensible adult and get your facts right?? 3 Likes |

Softmirror:Your example was watery. The accused was sentenced and wasn't released abruptly. Rest and stop pushing it further. You goofed. -Kiss the truth? 3 Likes |

TimeManager: I never said the are released abruptly infact I hiinged it on the Judiciary and I have given you an example of how they do it. Did you read the commentary? I didn't write that too?! Rafsanjani laments that “People who are innocent are languishing in prison, some of them have spent 20 years, 15 years in prison without trial. “Now somebody who has committed these huge atrocities against innocent people is being given few years of jail term and is now released. 1 Like |

Softmirror:People languishing in prison is another topic entirely. How many of them have access to a lawyer?. How many could afford it?. You're mixing it up. I would have it that you were careless with your initial statements and not well informed about your allegation as well. -Kiss the truth! 2 Likes |

TimeManager:I was following your argument with Softmirror. He pain stalking proof to you what the judiciary did which is in the public domain. You should be ashamed of yourself for not accepting the truth. A crime of kidnapping and murder being given 5 or 7 years? Shame on you. 1 Like 1 Share |
