you misunderstood my post. With aliexpress, they provide you the shipper , you just pay. But for American websites, you have to source for your own independent shipper who then places this order for you themselves. Haven’t used Amazon recently though but that was my experience when I shipped from America. (EBay).

My reason for saying it’s a gamble isn’t because of aliexpress, but because of Nigerian customs and their notorious reputation of stealing phones shipped into the country via those shipping routes. Sometimes they’ll even overvalue your item making you pay more to clear it. If you are lucky, your device will that stage smoothly without any hassle.

It was still working then. Even now, you can't use naira cards on dollar denominated websites but AliExpress has always accepted payment in different currencies.

Oh really? I never knew about that. I like the Opay option I saw there. Seems one can even pay by just using his Opay and not necessarily with the card.
