This is where sensible people govern. Now the new private or personal hustle is to kill and deliver as many mosquitoes as possible. University scholar in that axis will now focus their research on means to kill or arrest as much mosquitoes as possible. Give this just few year and mosquitoes are gonna become extinct species in that environment. Government can just be as simple and impacting as it is portrayed here. 5 Likes |

USAID at it again. These Philippine communities are able to combat Dengue every time spikes occur. Brazilian communities do the same to Zika as well as Liberian communities where Ebola is concerned. Why is it that they easily contain these diseases every other year and yet the organisms responsible are not wiped off completely? If there is an attack from a pride of lions, no human being will kill majority then leave two to procreate. We all know future generations will come back smarter. The same can be said for diseases and pathogens. 1 Like |

Mosquito and flies contribute to more than 50 percent mortality here in these parts of the world... Aside direct mortality from malaria and typhoid ,constant treatment with antibiotics, antimalarials and strong pain killers are a leading cause of liver ,kidney, spleen and neurological damages.. add this to the fact that malaria n typhoid also lowers ur immunity making u vulnerable to other health problems like several cancers and auto immune problems... That's aside draining your pockets in treatment and leaving u financially vulnerable too My house at the last count has 16 lamps n zappers to zap mosquitoes and other insects..if them bring this challenge come Nigeria I go win... Insect carcas I dey throwaway every weekend go fill one tin of peak liquid 2 Likes |

. This will be counter productive. Just like India's bounty against snakes. People will start breeding mosquitoes and mosquito larvae in water tanks. Nuff said . |

I forgot the term it's called ,this policy has a tendency to make it worse . When such was done in India for snakes ,the Indians began to rear snakes just to collect bounty. |
