Now, to school you properly, USSR was a union of republics and not just a federation. This means that Ukraine and Georgia were recognised republics within a larger state. Also, each soviet state is linked to an ethnic group, much like the Yorubas are a group within Nigeria. If we have a Yoruba country tomorrow, will you say President Tinubu was not a Yoruba man?
