Yes, I mean he should withdraw the bills then we can talk about the grey areas of the bills.
The bills should be withdrawn then discuss with opponents of the bills.
As a Delta man, I know the bills are firstly; for the emancipation of more money 🤑 for Lagos development first other issues are sundry.
Secondly; to make Governors become productive.
I do not oppose the bills as a major oil producing native of Delta State because it is for my benefits as we shall be advocating for 40% derivation for oil 🛢️ explored on our lands soon.
But to show goodwill, the bills should be withdrawn, then sit down and discuss with the northern guys who seems more afraid about it's implementation.
After dotting the I's and crossing the T's, present the bills again, any baggar that oppose them should have his b*lls for breakfast.
I humbly Submit

Politics won't allow for withdrawal.
If he withdraws, he will lose his hardman reputation.
Nigerians generally prefer hardmen to those who compromise.

40%? The New Tax Bill is 60% for the producing state. Resource control should also be 60% for the producing states.

Withdraw it to satisfy who? The north? The reform is right in time, Tinubu is the only person who can get this reform done otherwise, Nigeria is doomed.
No country developed the way northern Nigeria want Nigeria to be run. They're the one spending money being hustle for in The south in the name of one Nigeria. The way Lagos is creating enabling environment for business a step helping her IGR only to share it with lazy asses in the north..where is the wisdom in such economy

If a bill is withdrawn it cannot be presented in the life of this parliament. That is the simple answer to your question.
That is why the petroleum Industry Act took 20 years/
So if the bill is withdrawn it is good as dead because no Northern president will ever sign it

Must we always dance to the tune of the music been played by the North,if anything in Nigeria, don't go in their way?
They have the highest number of local governments in Nigeria, to the disadvantage of the Southerns, especially the S'East, heaven haven't broken loose.
Kano state and others, don't allow alcoholic drinks to be sold in their area, yet they benefit from the VAT from it collected from other states.
They have more states than the South, especially the S'East, yet Nigeria is still peaceful, must everything favour them before we can breathe in Nigeria?
I'm neither a fan of Tinubu nor that of APC, but if these tax reform bills are for the general good of Nigerians, please let it ed, not minding whose oxen is gouged.
