Love800: Training= practical/hands on learning eg Apprenticeship to gain mastery and expand your skills. While certification is like an endorsement or Approval a testimonial/certificate you can receive from a regulatory/professional body after you have ed some series of tests/exams according to their lay down standards |

So will you say a catering school for a example now is not a training but just to tests and exams in the catering school?

How time flies. This 2KW Solar energy system was installed January 2018. That's 7years ago. It comprises; 250Watts Polycrystalline.PV 8units 2.5kva pure sine wave inverter 50A PWM charge controller 2unit 200AH wet cells battery (produced in Nigeria) The Technology Trends Typically you could find such system configurations those days. Talking about Poly Crystalline PV which have mostly been overshadowed by Mono Crystalline PV with advanced technology, higher capacity as well as greater efficiency. 250/260Watts was sometimes the highest single PV module that you could find available in Nigeria then. But now we're are almost hitting 1000Wattage single PV module that are reasonable enough in size/weight compared to their outputs/wattage. Those Batteries in the picture are flooded/wetcell type. They were made in Nigeria then by a Nigerian company but we never took time to develop the technology and to improve on it and as such, the Indian people took over and dominated that battery technology and advanced it to today's Tall Tubular batteries which have become the second most sort after to Lithium batteries that have Chinese dominance. Imagine Nigeria had continued in that trajectory by now the story would have been to our economic advantage. The PWM charge controllers have been taken over by MPPT charge controller which has better efficiency and are mostly incorporated in manufacturing hybrid inverters that are found nowadays. These technologies are mostly Chinese and Indian as well. ....

solarview: Good day. Please, I am thinking of installing a mini solar that can power one 1.5 horse power inverter AC and a middle sized fridge, 2 standing fans, TV, laptop and some energy saving bulbs. How many KVA solar system do you think can power this load? |
solarview(m): 6:56pm On Jan 09 |
Mcslize: Good day. Do a 6KWP PV 5/6KW inverter 15KWH lithium battery or 8Tubular battery setup To enjoy your AC. Thanks |
Mcslize: 8:37pm On Jan 09 |
solarview: That will be too big for me. That's can power a full 3 bed room flat o you know. 15KWH lithium battery is too big na. No be full community wan power o |

If that is above your budget, then go for the nearest to it, but I will advise you maintain that inverter capacity, also you'll engage energy management. Shalom cc Mcslize |

Harmattan dust can reduce your solar power generation capacity, especially if you live close to a major road or construction sites. You could arrange for solar s cleaning or washing to have a better performance.

Importance of Battery maintenance. If you use Flooded Lead Acid/Tubular battery. The battery requires maintenance which entails topping up with distilled water to keep it in optimal condition and to last longer. Usually the frequency of maintenance depends on many factors like, battery brand, the ambient temperature around the battery. Charge and discharge current/the usage etc The first top up may be due between eight to 12months of its installation. After then it is advisable to do it quarterly or at least once in six months. The process involved using distilled water to gauge each cell compartment of the battery(usually 6 cells for the common 12volts battery). Also cleaning of the battery vent and terminals where it applies. There is usually an indicator that shows when the battery electrolyte is getting low. Points to note: * Ensure that all the battery 6 cells are gauged. * Use distilled water to top up. * Tighten any loose terminal You can us for maintenance service O7O6939933O

INVERTER MAINTENANCE. Inverter plays a crucial role in any solar energy system that is alternating current based. Because this is the common type of system that is available, the inverter is there to convert the generated(PV) or stored(battery) direct current (DC) to Alternating current (AC) that can be used by the regular home appliances. During the process of this conversion, the electronics components generates heat which needs to be put under control to avoid overheating. To achieve this some techniques are employed in building an inverter system, use of heat sinks, ventilation in/outlet, cooling fans, and temperature sensors etc. The first two are kind of manual in nature especially the air vent. Every inverter owners/installers should pay attention to it, to make sure that it is not clogged by dust or debris as the case maybe. The environment where the inverter is located plays a critical role in this situation eg if it's a dusty place. Check the inverter air vent, clean it with a dry cloth or brush as the case maybe. You may have to put off the inverter before cleaning it. This is necessary to avoid the temperature sensors shutting down your inverter once over temperature is detected and this can lead to inverter malfunction and power interruption. Check out the below photos to have a clue.
