I own a 2004 Honda accord (Scrap EOD), as some of my fellow car owners will call it.

The engine runs fine but I struggle to start it only in the mornings.

Every other hour of the day, the car starts just once as it hits ignition.

Once the car is left in a state of inertia till the next morning, it struggles to start.

I kindly seek the advise of experienced engineers/mechanics on this issue so I can know how to repair or restore.

Why call it scrap? Dont allow persons who have never bought a wheel spanner in their life to define your car.

Change only sparks plug with new original or tukunbo.
Then wait until the next morning and start the car if ok fine otherwise service the noozle and put very reputable injector cleaner while you have 30 litres fuel

The car is not a morning car. It doesn't like disturbance in the morning

I get you. But for me as long as the engine is running, it has not failed in my own opinion. Before it fails it would have given you "check engine " signal so you can diagnose and fix the problem...and deoending on what it is, it can be driven for a long or short time but at the risk of escalating the damage and destroying the engine.

2. Check engine light doesn't mean engine failure alone. It can be as little as loose fuel tank cover, dirty sensor etc

UPDATE
This has been fixed.

What was done is, the fuel filter was replaced and that was it.
