So one million naira was transferred to Juju, as soon as juju confirmed the money, myself and Samuel exited the room and left for home i was to return alone the following day to do the ritual. I was married to penury and it was after i left Port Hacourt for Lagos through Samuels help that my story changed a bit because, not only did he help me pay the bus fare, he recieved me as soon as i arrived in the Lagos bus station, hugged me tightly, and asked me to follow him to where he parked.. as i trotted behind him hauling my Ghana bust go bag that contained every thing i ever owned, i could tell that, my guy was well to do. Was it the whiff of strong perfume fragrance that hit you moments before he gets to you and still lingers after he leaves?? Well that screamed to me.. Still trotting along, and after observing Sam from head to toe as we walked, everything from his hair, skin, designer clothes shoes and body assesories screamed .l and high clas and by the time we got to his car, i was jaw dropped completely..let me save the stories formanother chapter.. just know that sam is rich.

Back to the matter. He explained hpw he made money with spiritual help.and spiritual connections but he wont reveal what he did exactly but if i say i was ready and would do anything to escape penury, i would go through what he went thtough and at some point I'd understand what he did exactly but he wasnt gonna tell me but will me all the way. So thats to say he was the one who paid the one million to Juju as the ritual fee.. all i needed to do was show up the next day.

Next day set, i showed up alone as asked by Juju and as soon as i came in, h me handed me a sponge and soap and asked me to have a spiritual cleansing bath first, i did, and then he led me into a white room, and asked me to sit on a spread mat, he left, he returned and then placed a big black pot infront of me and opened the pot cover which revealed a reddish tomato type soup as its content. Juju then asked me what id like to eat the soup with, he said i could choose any morsel and i asked for fufu, he left again and while he was out, i observed the soup in the pot and i could see thatit was filled with enough beef and was filled to the brim. I left it untouched waiting for juju again.. He appeared again and handed me a dozen fufu morsels and gave me instruction, i was to make sure i ate everything in the pot. I thanked him and he left.

I unwrapped one fufu, cut one morsel, immersed it into the soup, threw it in my mouth and swallowed. Suprisingly, this soup tasted better that every soup i had ever tasted in my life, i swallowed two more morsels and decided it was time to eat one of those sacred beefs that lodged in the pot, i scoouped one up and then this meat lolked wiered, upon close observation, i realized it was the feet of a new born infant, i cringed!!! I milled the pot around and there it was, the soft cooked skull of a newborn baby.

At that point i did not want to go further anymore, but i tasted this soup na. I swallowed fufu too but atleast i havent chewed the human disected beef that occupied the pot. I wanted out. I aproached the door and tried opening from inside just as i touched the door knob, there was a sharp piercing scream from inside that soup pot i was supposed to eat, and it was of a baby.. wuen wuen wuen wuen wuen.. Ah i don die.. fear gripped my soul i was shaken from the outside of my body to inside my bone marrow. Then juju called from outside i gues he had heard that cry too and called out to me that if them born my papa well make i no go back to that sacrificial meal so the noise can stop then i should be ready to face the consiquences which was generational chronic madness. Meaning that baby will haunt me, haunt everyone in my clan.

I returned to the sacrificial pot in fear and as soon As i took my seat again, it auto stopped crying. I heard juju praising me again from outside in yoruba

"Okare omo okor, oya maje malomi, ridaju pe oje gbogbo obe yen ku egun gun"

"Well done Strong Child, oya eat it, eat it, make sure you eat all that soup and its content to the bone"

I picked the fufu in fear again, rolled it around in my palms back and forth, dipped it in the tomato soup and swallowed but i kid you not this soup sweet gan ajeh. Then i picked a part of the meat that looked like the feet of the baby that was used and bit into it, human meat come sweet for my mouth, i bit into it again and again, and again and then at that point i abandoned the fufu and just kept eating the meat. It was soft , suculent, and every bite was a mix of everything tasty. Before youd say jack, i was done with the body parts and then chewed on the skull, but i was careful because juju wanted that bony particles of the soft skull back. The brain was the part i enjoyed the most. And when i was done, i gathered the bones together and knocked on the door from inside.

Then the door gave way from outside and opened and Juju was standing with Samuel and they both beamed with Satisfaction. Juju entered the room while i exited it and packed the reminants from the spiritual meal and i was ready for the next phase which was burning the bones and cartilage that i didnt eat and using it to make the soap that would activate the whole money ritual process.

That been done, Juju gathered what he needed and proceeded to burning the bones and the cartilage, i watched as he burned it into what looked like black charcoal and then poured it into a mortal and punded it till it turned to powder. Then he mixed the powder into a soap and when he was done he handed me the soap and a sponge and said i was to bath that soap all at once. The said soap was as big as my fist and i was to bath it all till the soap was no more.

Samuel drove us in his car to a flowing canal and baba had me stand at the edge of the flowing dirty water and the bath commenced. Baba turned his back Samuel turned his back but before Samuel did, he removed all his clothes and was naked while i did the bath. I kid you not, i bath this soap sotey i fainted and as soon as Juju heard the spalsh from my fall, he grabbed me and incanted and i was back up again to continue the bath. It took close to 1 hour 30 minutes before this sturborn newborn infused spiritual soap finished from the sponge. And when it was done, Baba asked me to give the sponge to an Invinsible being i coldnt see but himself, as i stretched my hands forward to that sponge to the being i couldnt see, i felt a strong wind and then the sponge disappeared and baba asked me to return back to the car while he remained there doing more incatations. Finaly baba reed us and in no time we were back at Jujus house.

Back at Juju's place, because i still didnt know how all these baby eating and soap baths would amount to money, i pondered and thought, will a spirit bring the money, or would money magically apear in a room, not like i was going to ask because Samuel was a living proof that somehow, anyway, anyhow i would make money or would in no time be in physical possesion of it and then juju snapped me out of the said thoughts.

Juju:
Now that you've put yourself through the process, what you need to do is go into the world and engage in a buisness, anything profit making and then no matter what you choose to do as buisness, the spirits would multiply it in folds.


That was juju speaking to me. I argued that i was broke and how would i start a goddamned buisness huh. Then Samuel asked me to shut it that himself and myself are one blood now and he would help me start whatever on a small scale and i could go from there all i needed to do was to think of something and show up there everyday consistently. Oh thankfully, i told Samuel and in Juju's presence that i like the food buisness and that my mother sold food, her mom sold food, my mother's mother's mom sold food too and that i understood the buisness and having helped my mum hawk food till she got a stable place, i understood the buisness and how it worked and would like to venture into it. Juju warned that it had to be small and whatever Samuel would help me with had to be something small just to get started and that the spirits would kick in and multiply the buisness. We both thanked juju and left his place but stoopid me didnt ask if there was any repercussions and juju didnt say a word. While in the car and was driving back to Samuels place, it suddenly crossed my mind and Samuel said it was nothing that gradually i would be communicated with and that i was a learner or a beginner and that everything would not be rushed on me and that this wasn't nollywood where the movie starts and and end in 2hours and they'd be reading the repercussions to me not that there's not any but its a process and i would get to it. Fair enough i thought, fair enough.


Next day, Samuel provided me buisness capital in cash, and then looked for a one room self contained for me on the mainland the same day and then rushed me into moving there the day after. Accomondation secured, i took that capital and went to the market and bought utensils and food stuffs and was gonna cook early next morning and was going to hawk whatever i made with a cart i bought from an aboki. Everything was ready for the next day, i set my alarms to 4am so i could be up early and make food that i was gonna sell on my food cart in the streets. Mind you, my one room self contained was in an apartment where i was the only tenant and the landlord looked like he noved overseas and they just wanted someone to live in and from the house so i had all the space i wanted and needed. That being said, i overslpet and woke up around. 7am but to my utmost suprise, the food was ready and placed and arranged in my coolers on the food cart and was ready to go.. i was shocked and almost thought i was going to faint. Then Juju called me and said the spirits met me sleeping and cooked for me and that all i need to do was to wheel out and go make some sales he would be intouch later.
