I'm not sure rejected is the right word to use for lookman. Yes he accepted us but then it's not as if he had any real chance with the 3 lions as at the time he committed to us. that the boy was involved in the 3 lions setting up to the u21 level. He was never going to play for england with the stats he was churning out as at then and coupled with the fact that he was always on loan. We were his only realistic chance at international football and I'm glad he made that decision. If he was the one in Tammy's shoes playing for Chelsea, he would have been an English international by now. Tammy made the best possible decision as at then but I guess life has its own plans.

I don't think Nigeria has begged any player the way we went on our knees beg Tammy to come play for us. aina only played 24 premier league minutes across 3 games for Chelsea in his career. I quite appreciate and love the fact that these people played for us but saying it as if they had a clear chance at England and still decided to play for us is really funny to hear.
