I agree with some of your assertions but Wannacry was not coded by Hushpuppi. Rather, Hushpuppi's was their 'Banker'. He was the one providing the s where the hackers we sending the proceeds of crime. You may wish to read the details here - https://www.justice.gov/usao-cdca/press-release/file/1292066/

Do you know that the WannaCry ransomware was built with a code that was leaked by Shadow brokers and the US NSA was using it secretly in a global spying program before the leak? The USA justice department never indicted, the National security agency for the global spying program. What about the files Edward Snowden leaked? any indictment against the USA by the justice department? no. Never believe everything from the USA government, they also lied about the Vietnamese war just to get , be skeptical before you believe anything.

Ramon can't code himself out of a wet paper bag. He just a front man. The real guys are probably wearing pyjamas in their one room apartment littered with Starbucks and dominos pizza.
Although he allegedly has links to North Korea Hackers. I doubt he knows what a func is, nor has he used Wannacry before even as a script kid. His main thing is BEC.

At the bolded grin. So true. Their rooms are usually rough and littered with empty cartons of pizza and soda cans.

There are so many people that ask me how to get into cybersecurity and I use the analogy of a hausa maiguard employed to protect a mansion. How does he effectively protect the whole mansion if he doesn't understand or know the nooks and cranies of the house.

How can you secure systems you don't understand? Go and learn Comptia A+, Network + and security + to have a baseline knowledge and build from there. It's a very tough career path but doable to those with interest and dedication. If you 9nly follow money, you will not make it cos the learning curve is very steep and no 2 solutions are designed the same.

Boss I sent you an email, please check 🙏🙏🙏

A good thread/topic.I’m a cybersecurity professional myself with one of the biggest banks in SA. I can confirm it’s a very lucrative and high demand forte. However, it requires a lot of foundational hands-on and analytical skills to venture into. Something you don’t acquire overnight. OP mentioned bug bounty, that’s like grey box testing and it’s not for rookies. Long story short, it’s worthwhile and rewarding but you do require defined skills sets to thrive in it, ranging from pentest skills like footprinting, invasive skills (results from your enumeration) and you decide to be on the blue team then you need to learn defensive skills and tool usage. Good write up OP
Can you help me...I just started...your write up is the most matured

Cybersecurity is the best career path in tech because it offers high demand, job security, and growth opportunities in a world increasingly reliant on digital systems. Companies like Chicago Security Systems play a crucial role in protecting sensitive data and ensuring the safety of digital infrastructures, making cybersecurity professionals essential and well-compensated in the tech industry.

Firstly, Hutchins is an exception, he stopped a global cyber threat which is a feat not any random Joe can achieve and uhm, he completed community college which a form of a higher education.

"... WannaCry was coded by Hushpupi" kindly share your source.

Every member of the IBM Xforce have some form of academic degree. It's apparent that the one that's not up-to-date is you sir.

Lastly, Let me put it this way. I'm not saying you need a degree to be an expert. What I'm saying is, a degree is the bare minimum for any organization to even consider you for a role or trust you with their network. You guys need to stop selling this "you don't need a degree to enter this IT field"

I still stand on the fact the Cybersecurity is NOT an entry-level role. It'll take you years of experience to be an expert.

Pls, is 3months enough to acquire this tech knowledge as I was told?
