JohnZak: No. You don’t have an active SEVIS record until you enter a US border and generate an i94 on your entry, if you’re entering on an “initial entry” i20. There’s nothing a DSO can transfer here since he has no “active “ SEVIS record here. I can see sharon8 has already talked about this. Honestly, its very frustrating at this point. The website was under maintenance few hours ago so one would expect all issues to have been resolved before it was back online. It came back this morning and the issue still persisted. cole234: Your best bet is to submit another DS-160, call the embassy, and seek advise asap... You cannot even get them today, its thanksgiving but you can initiate another DS-160 in the meantime just don't submit yet until you hear from the embassy. |

Hi, Has anyone successfully received their visa after a 221g? Visa was approved at embassy but port was returned after a few days and no additional documents requested. It’s getting to 3 months now. I really don’t know what has happened. What kind of checks are being done during this period. School course is not under technology watch list. Does anyone have a similar experience , please DM. |

hello guys, please I paid my MRV fee back in July with the old platform, I was told that i need to migrate to the new platform which I have done. I have also sent them a receipt of my payment with GT BANK but till now they have not confirmed the receipt, and I am unable to schedule an interview. Please my school is resuming in January- and I have deferred once already I can't afford to defer again. Can someone help me please? what do i do? I have called and opened a ticket on the avitts platform, and they keep saying to be patient. it's been over 2-3 months.

After that phase, Pay4Me from playstore or whichever app store. and your identity. Select the option to pay SEVIS fee. Did you create another profile in the AVITS portal after they sent you a migration mail from the old portal or you just created the new profile? Ideally, according to them, they ought to migrate you themselves without you having to do that ursef. Otherwise, it would tell you duplicate profiles later on. somtosomto: |

I am not sure this is why. I guess the new platform (AVITS) may be experiencing some technical issue which is preventing new s to create new profiles. Just wait a little bit and then try again.
