The United Kingdom Embassy in Nigeria announced on Tuesday a change in its visa application centres, with a new supplier taking over their management.

The transition, which is expected to affect some applicants, may result in changes to the locations where documents are submitted and collected.

In a statement via its X (formerly Twitter) , the Embassy informed the public that affected customers would be ed directly via email with specific instructions.

“The supplier of our visa application centres in Nigeria is changing. During this transition, some customers may submit and collect their documents from different locations. You will be ed via email if this affects you,” the statement said.

The visa application centres in Abuja and Lagos, which have been facilitating the process, remain operational in those cities.

Applicants are reminded to book appointments before visiting these centres.

The Embassy advised those seeking further information to visit the official visa application website.

TLS has made enough money. Time for another organisation to chop small.

I hope the new organisation will not be charging extra for applicants in VI, Enugu and PH. That was quite extortionist.

TLS was also using some unethical practices to make more money. Purposely grading out appointment opppurnities and nudging people to pay for flexi appointment.

Is there a difference between the two? I don't think VFS is any better. Infact, from my interactions with both organisations, I think TLS is better organised. VFS guys are also doing runs with appointments. They messed up that their Lekki place.

All of them are just switching between these two organisations. Can't they engage another company asides these TLS and VFS?

Its As if every organizations are taking advantage of the Nigeria economy to treat Nigerians anyhow ,

Lost 70k to them last year...bank insisted the money is with them but they kept denying. Had to pay another. O lè ní wón.
