My experience at BLS today. Appointment was 8:15 to 8:30. All the while I had 8:30 in my head. Got to building security at 8:28 got to the door at around 8:33 if I had cared about the time i would have sped to the place. was just driving slowly. And crawled inside because i assumed it will be like TLs or VFs office with crowd and I even assumed they never even open on getting to the gate.

Na so the security to enter d Bls main door say I was late. that I should go pay for .
That the system already considered me late.

Me was like in my head. which system. something that you would still be delayed inside for serveral mins. I be software engineer. which system doesn't allow for 5min or 10min later. even US embassy for UK wasn't this bad.

Na so I start to argue. they said if I had some1 inside I should call. I told them who I sabi.

After much argument I came down to their level because the place was like burial ground no one to me.

Last last I gave them money.
Na so I enter.

Learn from my mistake and be careful of them. I had heard bad review of BLs I didn't know security will be the one to run me street.

I hope you all are aware that if you are on a tourist visa for over 30 days or more , you can apply for a study visa directly from spain.
All you need do is get a lawyer, who would help you process your documents from the immigration department or if you like, you get it done through a representative.

I had intention of doing Malta, but that has to be done via Italian Embassy in Nigeria.

It's best to just get or Italy, then use that opportunity to visit Malta.

Just that their visa stamp would not be obtained, since you're visiting via another Schengen visa.

If it possible, one can get
Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, and Spain visa stamps on your port by respectively applying via their embassies, but the refusal rate will discourage one from this. Hence, people are stuck with and Italy.

You're applying for a business visa.

It's tricky but I don't think impossible. If both of you have gotten Schengen visas in the past, it may be easier.

In my own opinion, I think she'd have to apply for a tourist visa and not business like you. And thus the applications may be treated separately.

And for the sponsorship part, she may have to self sponsor or you sponsor her from your personal purse.

If you want the company sponsorship to cover her, the company will have to state expressly that they encourage spouse to accompany their partners during international travels and they cover the travel expense. The company will then provide statement of for her as well. A copy of the company letter will be needed in her package too.

Provide photos of previous international travels both of you have done in the past.

Ensure to provide enough evidence that both of you have sufficient ties here: evidence of her job/business, children, socio-religious obligations, etc.

]You will be making a very big mistake by ing your spouse application to yours. You are the invitee for the summit and your information is written on the letter of invitation.
Stick to that in your interest. The people who take decisions at the embassy dont have any other job than to raise brows.

Your wife will have to apply for tourist visa, since the conference is of no impact to her career.

You'll do a cover letter stating this and she would do a cover letter stating it as well
