Hello Builders,

Please what's your opinion on tiling compound floor?

Tiling vs interlocking vs stamped floor

Which would you suggest and why?

Tiled and Stamped floor are on similar level when it comes to function, interlocked floor is quite different because it is removable without damaging and it is cool or advisable to be used on compound floors that have service pipes or cables run beneath it ( there are some compounds that have cables, pipes and the like run beneath the soil, such compounds might need to adopt the interlocking method for easy access).

A tiling of floor compound it works has a strong empirical Base designs with a beautiful look.
Stampede floor it is good but it can store sand and easily germinate grass

Making some renovations, changed the old windows to aluminum, and tried to protect the rooms from rain getting in during heavy downpours by installing these green roofs but it makes the whole place look odd and old school.

I think I might remove it and find a more modern way to stop rain from entering the rooms without the windows closed.

Please any suggestions are welcomed.

Below is my observation
-The Electricidal pipe the guy quote is not dignity because is more expensive than what he quoted for.
-A pack of looping box won't be enough if you plan to have recess light in all the rooms, sitting room, toilet, kitchen and dining.
-What type of 3x3 and 3x6 did he priced, galvanized or plastic ?

-The 2.5mm(RED and BLACK ) cable must the same quantity since they are taking source from the same DB

-He must also specify the make of cables too, alot of cables are in the market now

If the windows are done well, water will never enter no matter how heavy the rain is. As for the door, look for those into car port, let them do something nice and appealing for you
Please any suggestions are welcomed.

In my opinion, nothing is wrong with the setup, functionality should supersede aesthetics.

You may just give all the wooden components including the facial boards a suitable wood preservative.

A healthy living space, be it indoors or the compound should not contain too much elements of "shine shine" or "Yo Yo Yo".

A living space should not dominate humans, it should be the other way round. When a living space is too dominant, the occupants become subconciously mentally imbalanced.

There's no 4mm for cooker unit.
There's no 16mm for supply from the pole to the house or is your Disco expected to provide that?

The half roll of 10mm I believe would be used to supply the DB from the cut out fuse unit. It may not be enough if there's a considerable distance from the cut out to the DB considering it's a 3-phase wiring.

The 10mm single might likely to be enough if the electrician is using single phase supply to the distribution board... Also, the 16mm you mentioned is going to be service wire(aluminium.). He might not need that now because the electrician quoted for only internal installations

Noted.

Again from the quote it seems 2.5mm would be used for the cooker unit in the kitchen. Cooker units should be able to handle 3k watts if I'm not mistaken. You don't recommend 2.5mm on that do you?

Cooker unit should be at least 4mm but with the look of things I don't think he is installing cooker in the kitchen.
