Hollywood has been pumping out propaganda movies since WW2. Weren't there rumors roaming about that the script for Top gun Maverick was rewritten to promote patriotism? Back in the day, they stifled scripts that showed Russia in a positive light and promoted anti-communist movies. It's funny how people who are so against "the message" this century justify that because the message is unpatriotic and shows Americans and their obsession with their imperialistic capitalist values
