Honestly bros, you have asked a good question.
There is nothing certain in life and sometimes we make mistakes and learn from it.

I was honestly trying to help and since January this year, I have given out almost a N1m every singe month.

I only gave her N15k which I could afford to lose so not a really big deal.

There was this person that begged me for help about 2 years ago, she needed N200k for some medical emergencies and I sent the N200k, she spent on something else and when I heard about it I was very angry and cut her off. She tried to reach me again to beg for money and I never gave her believing she was trying to scam me, not knowing she was actually in a medical emergency.

This person eventually died and I feel very guilty about it till today and would never forgive myself.

That is the reason I try to ocassionaly give people the benefit of the doubt knowing fully well I might be open to scam plus I came from a background of deep poverty myself.

I once paid $3000usd to a fake visa agent and lost everything, I once paid more than N400k to a fake school in the UK and lost everything.
You lose some and win some.
