Technically, the treasury could pull a Mugabe and print a few trillion dollar bills, pay off all the debt, and tank the entire world’s economy. They also don’t think long enough to see that the amount of remittances going to Nigeria in dollars is more than Nigeria’s yearly budget—they don’t think it would effect their country.
