Many people are jumping to conclusion just based of off the snippet of the video posted by the Bolt delivery driver.

The Bolt driver was very disrespectful and lacks customer service. His demeanor shows he doesn't like his job and doesn't want to be there. He ordered the man to come outside and pick up his food. Hon. Ikwechegh said no, he needs to bring it inside, which is expected as that's why people use such delivery services and pay the extra delivery fees. What if Hon. Ikwechegh was sick and couldn't make it outside? This is what delivery service is for. Otherwise, it's meaningless. They can as well go outside and drive to the restaurant themselves.

Hon. Ikwechegh even called the restaurant asking what's going on as he couldn't understand why the driver is acting in this manner. If I were him, I would have asked him to return the food. Can't trust eating a food delivered by a driver having an attitude.

Yes, his actions were wrong but the bolt driver was very disrespectful to order a man that lives in an upscale part of the city and obviously an honorable member to come outside. If he had his security detail, they would dealt with him and rightfully so. Delivery driver is a customer service job, you have to do it respectfully.

It appears this could also be premeditated by the bolt driver, like he's been there before, perhaps, didn't like his tip and decided to set him up by acting disrespectfully.

Toh

Just wondering why some people can't resolve whatever without massaging themselves egos. What's the big deal in the honourable man to also come down from the car/from his gate and take his order? Was he really hungry?

Sometimes ago, I was ing bye at night, a guy was in front of me holding this plastic cup, while trying to him, someone pushed me from the back while I pushed the guy holding the cup, the content was hot tea, so almost half poured away. The guy looked back angrily and poured the remaining hot tea on me, I looked at him, laughed and Waka.

To start with, I can't just imagine how much a jog of the tea would cost that I can't afford to buy back not to talk of a cup if he had questioned maturely why did I push him.

Secondly, such kind of person was ready for trouble, I ain't so I avoided it

Common sense should be applicable in some situations

Exactly my thoughts. I dont know why our people are being overtly emotional here. That driver was basically grumbling all through. At a point he looked like he was going to start a fight.
The driver looked very unhappy. Very petulant and unnecessarily rude! Yes rude! Like i said in another thread, a millionaire/vip is so for a reason. It is not your job to tell him how to enjoy his money. If he wants to be served in his bathtub, as long as he is paying for it, so be it.

And if you are trying to do a job that will force you to deal with such people, prepare yourself for these. If you are easily offended by the behaviours or attitude of the rich and and powerdul, then by all means stay away from them. A rich man can not order for his rich food in a rich way, only for an angry and petulant driver to be ordering him around. I will break your head to maintian my steeze. Chikenaa.
The driver was wrong!

Most delivery guys don't like entering people's co.pound because plenty have been killed. So the best way I'd to come down and collect your order outside. If you can not come send someone down. Don't rubbish because they've given you little money

At least, there was an evidence that the Senator assaulted the Bolt Driver, can you provide evidence that validate your claim? We all know the answer is No.

The driver have no right to walk into a private residence to deliver an item, it is the duty of the customer to come to the door or housegate to receive their package whatsoever.

We've heard situations where delivery persons got missing delivering items to people in their private residence. Some ritualists would lure people in just to take advantage of them.

This poster is just among the retwrfs paid to defend their oppressors.

Its obvious he doesnt even have detailed information available in the media space about what transpired before he rushed to expose his emptiness.

First of all the job of the Uber guy or any other delivery person stops at the gate of the client. A lot can happen if the delivery person enters the house of the client.

The least Ikwechegh could have done is to send one of his numerous domestic staff or aides to pick up the delivery outside.
The driver is being cautious for security reasons as anytiing can happen inside the house.

If Alex feels he is not satisfied with the services, He has an option of rejecting completely the delivery or not using same service when next he places an order. He can even write a bad review about the driver or the service.
Nothing, I repeat nothing warrants him to slap the driver three times, threatning to get him missing and not even the IG of police will do anything. Thats grevious and heinous.

What stops him from sending his domestic staff to go and get the order from the bolt drive, why should he descend so low to start beating the driver, can he try that outside the country.
Have the so called lawmaker forgotten the issue of former DSP that is in jail in UK.

Well said. Don't mind the agbado-looking driver who is envious of the light skin Igbo man ordering snarl pepper soup in this T-pain era. I'm sure he voted for agbado in chief.

All the bolts guys that come to my compound hardly the gate.

U are very wrong.

Even the guy that brought my drugs last time,I went outside to meet him.

The Jumia guys that brought my wife's canvass also waited outside the gate for her to come pick her things.

That is the policy. U can't turn them to ur errand boys in addition to the services they have rendered.

Thank you. The honourable is even a nice man for allowing the idiiots to video him in his premises with only 2 slaps. I would have shot him with my service pistol . Videoing somebody without consent in that person's premises is a security breach and must be met with brutal punishment

The bolt driver was very rude and uncouth...

Like how can you drive to his house and ask him to come to the car to pick up his order?

I thought delivery people especially food, knocked on people's doors to give them their order?

I know Alex personally, he's very gentle and kind

The jealous driver would have provoked him to that level. The idiot deserved what he got

If you have met Mascot before you would think he is a boy to the HOR , so as the driver saw him with hood sitting on that chair outside he thought he wasn't worth coming down from the car to hand over the package .

Mascot is not a trouble maker , if that driver had come down nad handed him the food he would have gone home with more money because Mascot is very generous

First of all, former DSP case is not the same as this.

Second, it appears the Honorable was home alone, no family, no help and no security. Ordinarily, if they were around, he wouldn't be dealing with the bolt driver. In fact, his security would have dealt with him.

Lastly, the residence appears to be an estate with open or soft compound entry, the type you can see the entry door from outside.

These are the people who will condemn politicians from other tribes but always find excuses for their own .

Azikiwe is a saint.

Obi is their messiah .

But every other politician of non Ibo extraction is evil and corrupt.

This is their same gimmick since Jan 15, 1966.

Other politicians , leaders and military officers must die but theirs must be spared.
