or no , a crime is a crime. Exploiting vulnerable people is a evil. They operate illegally because no law anywhere on earth demanding 50% interest in 7 days. That's simply against the law and whether or not a vulnerable and desperate person agree to it out of frustration doesn't make it legal. Everyone should borrow from them and never repay until they suffer so much losses and crawl back to whatever hole they crawled out from
and u don't know lending money and not wanting paying back is a crime too?
oh because ur crook leaders are doing it and we have useless police, u think it's legal?

Fairmoney is straightforward, everything there is clear to u... You see everything there before you proceed, the amount eligible to be borrowed, you select how you want to repay...

Fairmoney has no issue, just that ... Things bad for me, I really regret owing them...

We are also running a business and providing a service, the problem is that Nigerians do not like to repay loans
Your modus operandi is fraudulent and that is why you resort to blackmails in recovering loans. Coupled with the exorbitant interests you charge which, in most cases, you don't disclose until people have fallen into the traps of taking your loans out of desperation. Genuine money lending institutions like banks don't work like that.

Sometimes it is hard to blame these people as it is the kind of environment prevalent in Nigeria. Over 95% of the average Nigerian borrow with intentions not to repay and these people are into business to make money.

I honestly do not blame these loan companies as they have to resort to whatever means to stay in business.
ode! With overrated interest abi?

These loan apps should be avoided at all cost cos they've done more harm than good. Better to borrow money from family and friends than to use loan apps.

They are always tarnishing people's image once the person fails to pay back on the stipulated date. Even if the person is on the hospital bed, they don't care. Very callous set of people.

They should actually be banned cos those loans are just being used to exploit Nigerians. High interest rate, short repayment period... CBN isn't doing its job cos these people have violated a lot of ethical banking codes...

You should have gone CBN or other commercial banks to get the loan. Instead of encouraging borrowers to payback their loan, are here blaming loan app who are frustrated by bad debtors

The truth is 90% of Nigerians borrow money without the intention of paying back...

The lenders themselves are not without faults either, why would you charge exorbitant interest rates?

From research and observations, e.g read the comments from this thread, you will see for yourself.

If you are asked where you get this your bogus data from, nothing just vibes. I really hate seeing people just drop numbers for likes and interactions.

Meaning you defamation of character & character assassination by these people.
The fact is that most of the loan app operators are equally desperate. Why operate different apps & grant more loans to a desperate individual in disguise of helping them. The interest rate they display is not what they eventually ask borrowers to repay. It's indirect exploitation & obtaining by tricks. Their transactions are not transparent, very unprofessional & gives the country a bad name. The FG needs to investigate & if possible ban their operations. There must be clear guidelines on their operations.

Even if you're working for a loan app, try to reason before commenting. So because someone is owing a loan app, they have the right to destroy the person's image and tell lies about the person like that? Which law in Nigeria s such things? 🤔

You don't even know what's legal and illegal, you just came online to yap. 🙄

To the commenter below, the message was sent to my phone and probably to others as well to defame the loan defaulter. I can't even recall where I met the person at the center of this mess, but she sure had my saved on her phone.

The problem is that most times people who have no means to pay back also collect these loans so even if you get a Global debit instruction you might still not recover anything at the end of the day even though you have spent additional money to get the necessary approvals

It's not in the and conditions of the loan to harass people by any means necessary. It's breach of trust and could lead to serious legal battle by a serious customer or government.

People get get loans because they don't have the money at that particular moment but that's where credit score comes in . Credit score is used to determine the amount individual is capable of paying back .

If a loan is approved according to credit score, there won't be a way the money won't be recovered through CBN's BVN which is linked to all the customer's except he doesn't want to use bank anymore till his demise .

2. Branch
3. New credit
4. Xcross cash
5. Fairmoney

And they are all due... Not that I am not making efforts to pay them back, I am...

The country is too hard...

Though for now I only receive calls and constant reminders from anyone of them, that if I don't pay they will report my bvn to credit bureau... Sometimes branch and Fairmoney will tell me they will take legal action...

None of my s have called me yet to report any form of defamation yet...

I just hope and believe that these five loan apps I am owing are part of the ones that done defame... God go help me out to pay them all...

Those loan app are scammers imagine this Apex lending credited me with 20k without requesting for the loan and they told me to pay 32k within 30days and I immediately chatted their agent and he told me to return the money immediately that it's is a glitch and I returned that money immediately because I don't need any loan and they are now calling me for interest and overdue thank God that I screenshot the evidence of chatting between me and their agent in case of future and I promised to report them to nearest police station if they blackmail me again....

I am sure you didn’t have the intention of paying them back even before you applied for the loans. Why would you borrow money from five different institutions ?

most people blame loan sharks, but why will someone borrow and refuse to pay back
make we dey tell ourselves truth ,
if the borrower had paid back , the lender will have no course to complain,
most of these borrowers are evil and wicked. the main motive is not to return the money
,
as u see me so, I hate borrowing money
You are talking rubbish. For your information, I have never taken any loan from these useless people behind loan apps. Everything has a process. If you are running a loan business, you should know with all certainty that not everyone will pay back at the right time. Banks go through the same problem, have you ever seen any bank damaging the image of their clients. They go through normal ways allowed to recover their money.
