From the comments above it's safe to say Nigeria is still in stone age. They've left us behind in the grand scheme of things. Just last week i bought a bike that doesn't use fuel for 1.8 million I only get to charge it with light. And someone is baffled on how a generator can operate without fuel.

SMH in disgust

Please tell us how that fuelless generator works.

Does it use solar to generate power?
Does it store energy in batteries and uses an inverter to convert it to AC current for owners use and how is the battery charged? Self charging?

Or is this fuelless gen a perpetual motion machine? The holy grail?

If you are so forward and advanced, disprove the laws of thermodynamics and energy then.
Do it here for all to see.

Aha! I have found it!

This issue has been on my mind since the beginning of this coronavirus crisis and I've thought of creating this post for a while. My decision to create this post was further strengthened by a ridiculous article that I read 3 days ago (the article was actually on Nairaland's home page). The problem that I'm going to address is the issue of journalists that are out of their depths.

Journalists that are covering technical issues need to know more than the average person about such issues otherwise they would write absolute nonsense in their reports.

For example, some secondary school girls in Nigeria made an electro-magnetic dynamo as part of the Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) Club project in 2010. The project was exhibited at a fair. I watched the television news report about the fair (this was in 2010) and it was called exactly what it was, a dynamo. However, someone (I really don't know what to call him) wrote a news report in Vanguard Newspaper and wrote that the girls "invented a fuel-less power generator". There is no such thing as a fuel-less power generator. It is impossible. That violates the first law of thermodynamics. They would have won the Nobel Prize for Physics if they had achieved such a feat.

That silly article was posted on Nairaland and Nairalanders insulted the poor girls, calling them fraudsters and saying that they had imbibed the Nigerian spirit of making fraudulent claims at such a young age. Meanwhile, neither the girls nor their teachers did anything wrong. The problem was the incompetent journalist that did not know what he was writing about.

News organisations have often had correspondents that were also experts in their fields because they recognised that those subjects required more than a layman's understanding in order to cover them properly. For example, the NTA's judicial correspondent in the 1990s was Kayode Idowu. Kayode Idowu was not only a journalist, he was also a lawyer. Their current judicial correspondent, Femi Okeowo, is also both a journalist and a lawyer. The BBC World Service's health correspondent in the late 1990s and early 2000s was also a medical doctor.

Even if you can't get a person that has multiple degrees and is qualified both as a journalist and in a technical field, you can still appoint a consultant. For example, Mr Fred Agbaje was the legal consultant to Silverbird Television and Rhythm FM in the 2000s.

But unfortunately now you have journalists that do not even know the first thing about doctor-patient confidentiality covering health issues. That's why a silly person would write an article to criticise the minister of health for not breaching confidentiality rules regarding a patient that has covid19. the embarrassing video of the journalist that did not know the simple word asymptomatic, trying to ask the DG of the NCDC about asymptomatic patients?

Then why dem never kpai Elon musk and dozens of electric car company owners in China And Europe? Western governments are even in the forefront of minimizing fossil fuel use, They're spending billions on R&grin and implementation. This guy's just deluded.

Do you know the category of people Elon Musk is?

And at that, electric cars can not easily phase out cars with fueled engines, because you'd still need a power supply to charge it.

There is no such thing as perpetual energy. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. So boss, what is your generator's primary energy source?

Fuelless machine is real. It will be in main news before end of 2024 when it will become commercially available.

Siemens and Electron Energy Corporation have a global exclusive manufacturing license for a type of this fuelless machines. Another type of the fuelless machine is even more shattering, as it has no moving parts. An Asian company has an exclusive right to manufacture it. And there could be many more I do not know about.

The world needs it to save itself from global warming. Gone are the days when people should be threatened by the oil cabals, even the oil cabals now realize the earth needs to be saved. Every degree rise in global warming is catastrophic for the earth. We now know this.

Science only explains nature and also predicts natural behaviour based on knowledge gathered from studying natural or forced occurrences. Science doesn't tell nature how to act and react. It only explains.
When light could behave like matter and matter like light, the theory of the duality of matter was propounded. . When the atom was split into seperate parts, existing independently, the theory that atom is an indivisible part of element was set aside.

It is wrong to think that what you do not know does not exist! I am a first class scientist and have always believed in law of conservation of energy. We will need to explain infinite energy creation with the new reality happening to us. I am only too saddened that my country is not ready for what is coming. In less than 10 years, the world would have totally changed, and I pray we will not be left behind. Prepare for a new world. It is real.

If y'all bothered to do a simple Google search, you would have found his website.
Apparently the generators generate electricity by *electromagnetic induction*.

I can't vouch for the authenticity tho...
But the website is there for y'all to peruse.

Abeg he must take those threats seriously and focus on boosting his personal security because without life nothing more can be achieved. I would advise he also scales back his publicity and promotion in media and if at all he is to market it do it only by word of mouth.
I say this because there is a worldwide conspiracy against inventors of free energy technology and some have disappeared or died mysteriously.

Everyone claiming that it is a scam because he is not explaining his invention forgets that the video was not made and edited by him. So the information we are getting is what the journalist and editor chooses to share. Who knows if his explanation was edited out?
Furthermore most inventors who are yet to commericialze their product are not going to give away their invention for free for competitors to use to profit from before they have seen any profit from their own invention. So even if he gave the explanation he would make it vague enough to ensure others do not steal his invention.

Nigerians are far too negative and seem wired for just seeing the impossibly bad side of things.

While I don't the guy and wouldn't give a cat whistle for him till I also see him explain the principles ing his so-called invention, I would want to go with your position that science itself demonstrates a capacity to evolve with our discovery and understanding of the observable universe. We are all working from the known to the unknown and unfortunately and fascinatingly enough, what is unknown is infinitely much more than what we know.

Needless to say that there can be no perpetual motion system, that does not mean that different combinations of power generation concepts can not yield sustainably cheap, long-lasting and hydrocarbon-fuel free power.

An example is one we are working on out here that initiates with a battery powered generator system powering an electric motor running energy conversion via an alternator which converts the mechanical energy back to electrical energy. System of capacitors and resistors were deployed to smoothen out fluctuations and manage energy flow while the entire output connects to inverters with additional backup batteries to power household needs. Regenerative braking was implemented to further recover energy.

Initial markets targeted for deployment and sales are currently in Africa owing to a dearth of affordable electric power options observed here with its attendant penchant for reducing quality of life and socioeconomic growth and advancement.

I'm not gonna go longer on the issue but i'll take a stand on the idea that the way forward will be hybrid systems like ours for portable solo solutions while the world can start looking more into thermal, hydro, wind etc general or modular options for Community and Municipal power solutions.

Nigerian leaders are too busy stealing while a vast majority of its youths seem to busy twerking, acting comedy skits and discussing irrelevant celebrity idi0ts for them to even give any attention to macro issues around them, their country and their continent. The few thinking ones either want to come of the "sh!thole, zoo" etc while the rest waste their energies on tribal hate but the fact remains that the world has long left Nigeria behind. Even average Caucasians out here would tell you they'd be appalled to find themselves thinking the thoughts and nursing the cavemen concerns that preoccupies the average Nigerian mind on the daily.

More creative, safe and long-lasting energy solutions will still surface in the mass market soonest for general consumption and usage. There are just too many brilliant and dedicated minds working on that for it to happen soonest
And that's because they're not hampered by immediate survival thoughts to the point of them not seeing that the Earth needs to heal and we all have to take steps to help that happening.

Electromagnetic induction
That's plausible. But a lot of technicalities would make the system not feasible for large scale power generation

Babangidapikin:

All this consideration are to be considered.

The concept involves using a smaller turbine to create mechanical energy, which in turn drives a larger turbine connected to a generator. This setup can leverage an external power source, like electricity or renewable energy, to start the process
Step-by-Step Process

Select Turbines:
Small Turbine: Choose a small turbine that can be driven by an external power source (e.g., electric motor or a renewable energy source).
Large Turbine: Use a larger turbine designed to generate electricity when spun.

Power Source:
External Power: Identify a reliable power source. This could be:
Electric Motor: Connected to the small turbine, powered by the electrical grid or batteries.
Renewable Energy: Such as solar s or wind turbines, to power the small turbine.

3. Mechanical Coupling:
Connect the small turbine to the larger turbine via a shaft or gearbox. Ensure that the coupling allows for efficient transfer of mechanical energy from the small turbine to the larger turbine.

4.Start the Small Turbine:
Activate the external power source to start the small turbine. This turbine will rotate, creating mechanical energy.

5. Drive the Larger Turbine:
As the small turbine spins, it transfers energy through the coupling to the larger turbine. Ensure that the larger turbine is designed to operate at the speed generated by the small turbine.

6. Electricity Generation:
Connect the larger turbine to a generator. As the larger turbine spins, the generator converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
The output can be used to power electrical devices or fed back into the grid.

7. Control and Monitoring:
Implement a control system to monitor the speed and output of both turbines. This may include sensors and a microcontroller to optimize performance and ensure safety.

8. Efficiency Considerations:
Regularly check and maintain both turbines to maximize efficiency.
Consider using flywheels or energy storage systems to smooth out power output.

This setup allows you to use an external power source to drive a small turbine, which then powers a larger turbine for electricity generation. The efficiency and feasibility depend on the design and the specific turbines chosen.
Give credit to the AI you used to generate nonsense. A machine cannot function at 100% efficiency in real life. There's the friction factor
