Throughout a lifetime a soul even if it has good karma has has to evolve from a low place of suffering to prepare it to be strong and disciplined for the bountiful purpose and riches it would be given and so yes for a brief season satan would be allowed to steal your destiny but it's just to toughen you in affliction. Once you are toughened them you will be endowed with riches and blessings and goodwill. It's exactly the story of job in the bible
