It's not as if I have money to blow, but I've once used a ride that was quite cheap, but I was the 3rd/4th . The headache the ride have me made me hate cars for years.

I don't think it's wise of one to lump most rides in Nigeria as bad, and go for a cheap one because of that. It'll be better to even avoid it altogether if that's one's fear, cos I kid you not, the cheaper it is, the more trouble you'll get from it.

The only problem I see here is how to get a trusted mechanic to run a check and say it (the condition of the car) as it is, most of them are looking at making gains from both the seller and the buyer.
