Thats how they do in other big brother versions,US and co.In fact in most places.Its just in Nigeria they place so much powers in the audience hands.Ots a refreshing change to see them evict themselves.Shebi na them be the main actors now.So why not

It's not quite the same idea though. Giving housemates the power to evict each other, just as it is done is BBUS and BBCANADA is perfectly fine with me. I would even say that I prefer it to the public vote.

I think the issue most people have is that they spend time and effort voting for their preferred housemate, and even when the said housemate doesn't finish last on the polls, s/he can still go home just because of the housemates' votes. In the North American Big Brother versions, complete power to evict is given to housemates, with no single agency ceded to the public. This means no time and effort from the public wasted by voting. This means less frustration on the part of fans.

But then again, One could still argue that this is the point of voting to make sure you faves don't end up as bottom four in the first place and risk eviction.
