She didn't become president only because she lost the electoral college in a few key swing states she had hoped to win naturally. She'd have won had she campaign rigorously in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Yet, she lost by an aggregate of less than 170,000 votes in those three states put together. It was so close.

This is now 2024. A lot of sane independents and even some moderate Republicans have seen Trump for the nuisance that he is. The circumstances now are different. Kamala really has a shot.
