There is a formula for it.
This is how it is been calculated x=(AxB)/C.
a= the present salary
b=present minimum wage
c= previous minimum wage
X= new salary..

That amount is the "basic salary". Other allowances will be calculated based on that and added.
Those on SGL 01Step 1, may earned something close to N100,000

I don’t think this is true

It’s all inclusive that’s 70k

i am curious to know the percentage increase on salaries henceforth especially of fed government workers. as the new minimum wage of #70000 has been approved by the fed. the old minimum wage was #30000, that is automatically 135percent increased.
does that systematically and mathematically means i.e, if your current salary is #100,000. you will now be earning #235,000, is that how it going to be?
The way you sound, it seems as though you already know the answer even before asking the question, but you just feel like you just have to say something ...

Am I lying?

70k is the basic salary!

Allowances will eventually come in to take it around 100k. But it's supposed to be confidential.

Level 1. Gardener Driver cleaners with Only School certificates 70000k
In. some places they will be placed on L2

While Level 1 has 70000k others will have percentage from 70000k added to their salaries.
For example level 1 70k ,level 2 to 7 20 percentage of 70k will be added to their salaries, level 7 to 9 15 percent of the minimum wage will be added. and level 10 to 16 10 percent of the minimum wage will be added .
That is how it works.

there is what is called consequential adjustment..level 1 may have 70k, 2-6 may have 30%, 7-14 may have 20% then 15-17 may have 10%..All these are of basic .from basic, allowances will now be calculated and deductions like taxes, NHF, pensions etc.. so that 10%adjustment may end up being more than the 135% increase for junior staff.
