Don't mins those agents, they can be misleading, you can process the visa yourself.
I'll advise you to cancel the application and reapply yourself afresh, so that you wont be wasting your time. I dont think those people check additional documents for correction. I made a mistake in my 1st application too, then I ed additional document via webform to rectify this, but my application was rejected for that same reason. I had to reapply with correct documents before my application was okay.

I don't think you were banned. If you were, they will clearly state it. But your future applications will definitely attract additional scrutiny.
If you still want to reapply You will need to sit down and do this application yourself moving forward.
