If you are emotionally attached to your tribe, religion or political learning to the point that truth and justice becomes secondary considerations, your education is useless. Your exposure is useless. If you cannot reason beyond petty sentiments, you are a liability to mankind. 27 Likes 1 Share |

Obasanjos consistent criticism of leaders after his own tenure shows signs of senility, as he cannot accept anyone elses success and resorts to attacking them, like he has done with Buhari and Jonathan, further proving his bias as a political opponent.

Is the APC a catastrophe? Yes! Can Obasanjo critisize bad governance? Yes He can! Even the same APC were fierce sanctimonious critics of the PDP regime who can't take what they dished out despite their sensational failures over 9 years now.

Philipponzaghi:Tinubu has not demonstrated statecraft in allowing workers’ salaries to remain the same, one year after his economic policies unleashed the harshest hardship on Nigerians. The indexations it might have used for the figure mismatch the headline inflation at 33.69 per cent – the highest in 28 years, and April’s food inflation at 40.53 per cent, as reported by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The situation is dire for Nigerians, especially for the unemployed, and the over 133 million Nigerians judged in 2022 as being multi-dimensionally poor. A litre of fuel, which sold for N185 a year ago, is currently selling between N750 and N800. Worse is the fact that it is scarce. Mid last year, a 50-kilogramme bag of rice was sold between N42,000 and N50,000. It soared to N90,000 in February, and now it costs N80,000. Besides foodstuffs, the cost of medicines, school fees, and house rents are on the same stratospheric trajectory. 22 Likes |

These sycophants will continue praising Tinubu to high heavens while he destroys the country as he is already doing. Just few days back I went to Oyingbo market with 20k and couldn't buy much stuffs, because the prices of goods and commodities have skyrocketed more than ever before. You need see how those women selling were complaining and lamenting how terrible things are. All these sycophants will just come on air or the social media space to attack or abuse anyone that tells their Oga the truth. Forget all these their grammars, life is now tougher and harder for Nigerians. 7 Likes |

But sincerely, Obasanjo laid a poor foundation for Nigeria economy. 6 years before he came in, in 1999, dollar was stable at N22. After Obasanjo's 1 year in office by 2000, it was already at N89, that's a whopping 300% increase within a year. By the time he left in 2007, it was already N120, 500% increase. Politics aside, that is not a good foundation for our economy in the democratic dispensation.

APC? Those ones are known serial failures. Everything they touch, turn to dust. They have produce two incompetent Presidents, one is without certificate, even though he lied the army stole it, the other forged his certificate. So to expect much from them is to be wasting your precious time. They can't give what they don't have.

Reference to senility, in relation to OBJ, is in poor taste but general message is correct and one that has been aimed at hypocritical OBJ many, many times. OBJ should try to be a gracious Former President but that is not possible as he is vindictive and full of arrogance plus a messiah complex that makes him feel he is the best there was and will ever be. Everything he did was right, inspired and special. Everything others after him have done/are doing is wrong, poorly considered and /or incompetent. Whereas, for all his ungracious, hypocritical and obtrusive noise against others ( from Yar Adua to Jonathan plus Buhari and now Tinubu) OBJ’s reign as president, for the intellectually discerning, was below average per lacking the fundamental reforms Nigeria needs to move from a third world nation to a developed one. OBJ is the typical Nigerian i.e “ I know it all and know it best”. Too many of those sort of individuals in any nation, whether as leaders or ordinary citizens, will only create the Nigeria we all have today while they continue to view others incompetent and/or inferior. 2 Likes |
