I read that even after collecting your work permit that you still have to convince the border control once you land that you'll go back to your country at the end of the visa.

It's not an issue, it's normal to drill you, also work visa is not as hard as when they meet visitors😁

2. The same employment letter that was given to you when you got the job having all the necessary information such as: salary, position, etc. But it's best to attach a company introduction letter to employment letter, i may attach a sample of this letter here.

I have a Canadian VV, I couldn't use it for the purpose I needed it as the visa came out some months later. I have relatives in Canada who are convincing me to come over and seek Asylum. It's new to me but I'm still trying to make some research about asylum seeking.

I graduated 2015 with a CGPA of 4.3 and since then I've not been able to get a good job.

Please, is it worth it considering the fact that Nigeria is getting worse by the day?

You can fly back to your country EVEN with an expired port! So far you are returning to Naija! Maybe the KLM officer you spoke with did not understand what you were saying.

You however cannot use same port to leave naija if it is close to expiration (6months or less). Call them again or visit the airport overthere for further clarification.

In as much as I am not in your shoes to understand how difficult things are, I’ll strongly advise you to cross your T’s and dot your I’s before taking such decision. Travelling to canada with a VV is not as simple as it looks, even asylum seekers are not finding it easy. Why not process a study visa instead?

Uk visa either valid or otherwise will not speed up your processing time.Noting concern Canada with Uk visa,only Us and Australia ,however it may add to your travel experience advantage

You cannot be a visitor in your own country if you hold a Nigerian port. As a Nigerian returning home to Nigeria, you can arrive Nigeria even on an expired port!

My brother travel to lagos on klm in feburary with expire nigeria port as a dual citizen and 3 hours stopover in amsterdam airport And no issue!

You can arrive nigeria on expire nigeria port but It will be hard to return to canada on expire nigerian port if u not dual citizen so you need renew ur port in nigeria

Sorry for my earlier comment before I edited it, I thought you had a Canada visa that about to expire. Your UK visa cannot speed up your Canada visa application.

From my observations I don’t think UK visa speeds up the process . I’ve only seen cases where US visa speeds up process . I think you have to wait for the normal processing time which is 5 months .
