Sleepless night for Reno. Anambra is way too ahead in education thanks to Peter Obi's legacy in education. We will keep climbing higher 103 Likes 7 Shares |

LagosFirstSon: My hometown school, Mater Amabilis girls school (mission school) is another school where Obi did magic. Today, the school is probably one of the best in the country. The school won the award of best secondary school in Anambra last year. They have continued to rake in awards both national and international. These students are traveling the world and gaining experience. I love my state with ion! 108 Likes 7 Shares |

viccy12:How did he do the magic Mater Amabilis Secondary School, Umuoji was established in 1962 and owned & managed by the Catholic Church not Anambra state Government. 92 Likes 3 Shares |

opamoses1: The difference is that Anambra has consistently won both national and international awards both in science and other areas. I can list about 10 awards won by Anambra schools, students and teachers. I understand your point and agree with you but Anambra is like the Brazil of education. We have consistently performed and haven't stopped on all measures. That's the difference. 87 Likes 7 Shares |

Goodvibes007: The school was languishing in squalor where there was no water, dormitory were not maintaining, no electricity, laboratory has no materials and most of the structures are broken down. But soon as Obi handed it back to the mission and funded the school to tilt things immediately turned around. The school today is a pride of Ndi Umuoji. Even Queen of Rosary Onicha was not left alone. You need to visit our schools. We are proud to identify with our very own legend, Peter Obi. 100 Likes 10 Shares |

viccy12:So when it was a public school, Anambra government under Obi turned it to rubbish. The moment it went back to the missionaries and they started charging good school fees that many Anambrans can't afford, then it became good. So what about the other public schools that were not transfered like the ones talked about below. They did not seem to turn out well. 92 Likes 4 Shares |

viccy12:I am sure he can consistently list several awards won by schools in both Lagos and Ogun state as well, but what's the point....? For bragging rights? 89 Likes 3 Shares |

Goodvibes007: Please, I don't have time for nonsense. I told you the school was literally dead before Obi revamped it and you are here being intentionally foo. Lish. Don't you have common sense? 114 Likes 13 Shares |

viccy12:You basically shot yourself in the foot ๐๐๐ Confirming that the Anambra state government left the schools in a state of mess until they returned back to Catholic where some where charging 100,000 per term as far back as 2011. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Goodvibes007: No, he can't because Lagos and Ogun haven't done the same work Obi did in Anambra. We are winning in every competition, exams etc. We are unstoppable. Tribalism doesn't produce excellence, hard work does. We have very intimidating profile in education. You are just an ant next to us and I meant no insult 65 Likes 9 Shares |

viccy12:He returned it back to the mission and they started charging like big school fees ๐๐๐ So it's no longer public or owned by the government. So you are bragging on top privately funded institutions. 2 Likes 1 Share |

viccy12:What's there to compare. Ogun has produced many outstanding leaders in Nigeria. What has Anambra produced except lots of people that traffic drugs abroad ![]() Let's not even talk about the teenage prostitution that's all time high in Anambra. Those are the ones that can't afford rich private schools like yourself. 4 Likes 3 Shares |
