It will be difficult with x2, don't know of 3x. Capital is also crucial. The reason most go above 5 is due to low capital, greed, and overconfidence.

However, like I said in my past posts, this is not the time for futures trading. The time to use it will come, and it will make more sense. Post-halving is better. It will help some move fast. But spot is far better...not just in peace, but outperformance.

that's a terrible way to trade. All it takes for you to be liquidated is for a trade to go 10-15% against your direction. Only use 5% of your wallet size per position and don't exceed 6 different positions at a time with 10x leverage max...in this way, it will be tough for you to be liquidated. The idea is to make small consistent profit and not lose your capital. I haven't been liquidated for almost a year now..the two times I got close to liquidation was when i broke these ground rules of mine.

Cool, it seems this works well with a big capital. In order to gain something tangible, one need to target coins that move in higher percentage.
With good technical analysis, one can get consistent profit from bybit.
I agree with you, little gains can add up with time.

TON has been making the right moves lately, and I am extremely bullish on it and its ecosystem. I personally think the chain is going to be bigger than Base. Telegram currently has 900m active s, and they are being onboarded to the TON network daily. This is another reason why it will be bigger than Base in the long run, simply because it is much easier for Telegram to onboard people to TON than it is for Coinbase to onboard people to Base.

Telegram has also announced a new ad revenue sharing program, where rewards will be allocated through Toncoin on the TON network, along with the Toncoin community rewards initiative, valued at over $100 million.

The only problem I have with TON is the current valuation, which sits at a 17B market cap. I still believe it can compete with the top 5 chains, but multiples are in its ecosystem. My plan is to divide my funds into two: 30% to TON and 70% to its ecosystem.

It depends on the coin and strategy.

If you have where good calls are made, know who to follow, and you are patient, you can quickly turn $100 to $1000. From $1000 to $10k. It can take 5 months but doable.

I invested $120 into a coin in December, and right now, it is worth $420-480 (due to fluctuations). That's how many Xs? 3.5 - 4.

Now, that's not active trading of spots. Just low diamond hands. And it's not degen.

Now, in this 2024, I have seen calls that didn't take a month, some 15 days... And they are up x2, x3. That's the era we are.

When you grow to $1000, and break the ceiling, easy to put it in a coin that will do x 5 or 10 in a couple of months. And if it's catching trend, you may not need to wait for months before reaching $10k.

I know the power of leverage, but you will sweat, while a spot holder is picking his teeth with toothpick like Buhari.

Fact is anyone who is not busy, got time, follow people who do well (not noise makers), can research, will outperform a leverage right now.

I say this because we are in a choppy market. However, I believe the time of leverage s will come too. To protect capital before the rumble, spot is the way. And also note, certain coins that may do 300% in 7 days may not yet be listed for futures.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Derivatives can be sweet and majority of the time can be brutal.
Someone here mentioned lizax.io and it seems it's a good way to track coins to make some X within a short period of time.
2x leverage is a little bit closer to spot trading, if one use it with a small amount of the overall capital then it will be difficult to get liquidated.
Though, to see good profit, one just need a larger amount for trading.
Overall, spot seems to be less risky a doesn't give one high blood pressure.
