It is cost effective to have have everything sorted out at a go, but anything can happen at MOE and MOFA, i almost did not see my name at MOE, even though my school sent them an email on my behalf, so, don't let Nigeria happen to you. get an agent to help you sort your MOE and MOFA before your appointment at the Austrian embassy.

Yes it is very necessary, it is tiring sometimes, sometimes your sch may send and your name will not be in the list, so I advice that once your sch sent, maybe you let me know I will assist you to check before coming if u don't want to waste time.

MOE can also handle it from here, some did it that way and it work for them, but sometimes when it is handle my MOE the delay then usually may come from your sch in reply to them faster.

Yeah but I think I have to wait till like the date is around middle/ending of September or can I get august and shift it to September ending? Plus my port is just under processing (I had to correct my name).

Please I also heard police character/ police clearance certificate needs to be legalized abi na verified…I also heard it last just 3months.,

The proof is the request either as email or from the portal, requesting the documents to be legalized.
e.g this is a request from Uni vienna requesting for legalization of my documents followed by an email, this request suffice.

Thanks for this. Yeah this is clear but from this method you have to start the whole application process before going for legalization. What proofs can I submit then if I’m yet to start ission process at all.

Can I mail the school? I have university of Vienna as my main choice but for summer 2025. About to finish computer science Bsc August hopefully without any strikes 😪

I am currently learning German but I would like to know if there are any schools in Austria that don’t require German proficiency before I am accepted for Undergraduate studies?

Generally, even if your level of the German Language is not yet up to B2, it won´t hinder your being itted. You will only be given ission as an irregular student. This ission as an irregular student is enough to process your visa/residence permit.

After arrival in Austria, you will be ed in your school as an irregular student, with this you still have all rights of a regular student including the 20hrs/week work permit. During this period you will be learning the Language either at your school or outside for example at VHS, WIFI or BFI. You have up to two years to fulfil the language requirement of your school.

One important hint i will like to drop pertains to the 20hrs/week work permit, it is of pertinence you print out copies of the work permit forms and take along with you to any prospective employer to fill and you return this to the AMS (Austrian Labour Office) for stamping, this will ease your process of getting a job because some employers may be ignorant of your right to work in Austria.

The PDF format of the work permit forms are on the homepage of the AMS, this and print multiple copies for yourself.

A comfirmation that you are still learning the language (at an intensive level) to meet up your school requirement is enough to get RP extension within the first two years.
