Forex makes me feel like a trust fund kid, making money everyday, damn.

I don't know why I still have this feeling that it's all gonna come crashing, is it beginner's luck? Can't be, I've been trading for quiet a while.

I've gotten a lot of value from this thread, just thought of dropping one or two stuffs that have been helping me lately in trading Gold.

I only trade from 6am to 10am, I don't trade New York session, I leverage Asian session slow moves to know the direction of London and I'm mostly in the market during London open, I capitalize on the quick spurts/momentum at the open and I'm done.

I'm mostly right, and when I'm not, I quickly close my positions, and done for the day.

I hope this helps someone, I'm also open for questions on my method.

For the USOIL, I just draw a /resistance line (from the beginning of the Asian session), and set my buy stop and sell stop. Works 8 out of 10 times.

For the USOIL, I just draw a /resistance line (from the beginning of the Asian session), and set my buy stop and sell stop. Works 8 out of 10 times.

I use period separators on the MT5, if right from the open which is Asia, price started selling, it'll definitely reverse on London open, so I'll wait it out and wait for candlesticks formation to buy into London, vice versa if price starts buying right out of the gate on market open.

On ranging days, I'll draw and resistance and trade breakout which mostly happens during London open.

The sickest thing about this easy peasy method is, you don't lose much because there isn't high volatility, even if market goes against you, you won't lose much, you can also use reasonable stops.

I believe if gold breaks past yesterday's low... Then it's all downhill from there....

I believe gu is also going that path down to. 1.25... well its one day at a time...

With what UsdJpy did today and with that energy and momentum it has now, i expect it to break all time high sonner than expected in few days starting tomorw. This is when gold comes in, most of the time it does the opposite of UJ. So it may likely be the begining of the downward trend. I tested water today, right in my front, it started its downward spike after Usdjpy spike around 4am gmt. But because of fear of volatility , i ran out around 30pips, after waiting for almost 90 mins without much movement only for me to check few hours later, and saw that it would have taken my TP of 120pips with very smooth ride in ratio 1;4... Gold can be so unpretictable.

e be like say u no no me and gold. We always spy on our selves like rat and cat. easy to make money when not greedy, and easy to loose money when over leverage or over trade. My entries have always be one 1min chat while monitoring other multi time frame, and am comfortable with anything i see in and get out before e do me dirty. Its all about decipline. I no be arab lords and mafians that swing gold for days.

But truth be told, if prop firms are really what they emphasize about duplicating trades of successful traders, I see no reason why that prop firm should deny you any payout. Because they benefit from your trades

Keep eyes on USdJpy, that momentum will break all time high. To be safe, if it breaks 151.200, which is few 10s of pips away, we may have a smooth ride up for hundreds of pips. I have missed a lot of pips since the open of a new daily candle. Waiting for another opportunity to enter.
