I don't think it's in their DNA to protest for good governance, starting from the build up to Nigeria independence their voices were low. When u check activists these days, they are majorly from the West. I think the only time they think of protest is when, u arrest one of them or they fighting for their republic

If you voted for obi, then good for you!! Let those who voted for tinubu take ability for it, I wanted Nigeria to work, but at the same time I don't expect anything from the government, yes Igbo's are all business people, so if dollar increase, we put the money on top, the the cycle continues, we can't kill ourselves on top of other people bad choices, instead we work on ourselves to be resilient and thrive irregardless of any situation we find ourselves, no need for the insults though, all ur replies to me contains insults, if you are trying to make me insult u back, u would be disappointed.

The Igbos have learnt to paddle their own canoe for a long time. The benefiots of paddling ones canoe implies that one can decide on the direction that ones life is heading. The ibos have been a source of inspiration in business and inm all that they do.
Below are the advantages and disadvantages of g a protest against governemnt.

Advantages:

Expression of Dissent:

Advantage: Protests provide a platform for citizens to express their dissent and disagreement with government policies, decisions, or actions.
Democracy and Free Speech:

Advantage: Protests are fundamental to democratic societies, allowing citizens to exercise their right to free speech and assemble peacefully.
Pressure for Change:

Advantage: Protests can exert pressure on the government to reconsider or change policies, respond to public concerns, and address issues raised by the protesters.
Awareness and Visibility:

Advantage: Protests bring attention to specific social, political, or economic issues, raising awareness among the general public and sometimes on a global scale.
Community Building:

Advantage: Protests can foster a sense of community and solidarity among like-minded individuals, encouraging collective action for a common cause.
Policy Reevaluation:

Advantage: Effective protests may lead to a reevaluation of government policies and encourage lawmakers to consider alternative solutions.
Disadvantages:

Violence and Disorder:

Disadvantage: Protests can escalate into violence and disorder, causing harm to individuals, property, and public safety.
Government Crackdown:

Disadvantage: Governments may respond to protests with crackdowns, arrests, or even the imposition of martial law, leading to the suppression of dissent.
Negative Public Perception:

Disadvantage: Violent or disruptive protests may result in a negative public perception, diminishing the credibility of the protesters and their cause.
Economic Impact:

Disadvantage: Protests, especially if disruptive, can have economic consequences, affecting businesses, tourism, and overall economic stability.
Polarization and Divisions:

Disadvantage: Protests may deepen existing societal divisions and polarize public opinion, making it challenging to find common ground for constructive dialogue.
Infiltration and Manipulation:

Disadvantage: Protests may be susceptible to infiltration or manipulation by external actors or interest groups, leading to unintended consequences or outcomes.
Loss of Lives and Injuries:

Disadvantage: In extreme cases, protests can result in loss of lives and injuries, posing risks to the safety and well-being of participants and bystanders.
It's important to note that the impact of protests depends on various factors, including the nature of the protest, government response, public , and the specific issues being addressed. Peaceful and well-organized protests are more likely to achieve positive outcomes and garner public sympathy.

This is fake news from a non existing and fictional character. Iziguruzo is not the chairman of Ohaneze. He doesn't even exist but since buhari era has been steadily releasing statements. Ever wondered why anytime Ohaneze visit the president, this iziguruzo is never part of them. That's because he doesn't exist. Just like reipob, tripob etc

There is nothing like economy hardship, it's we people that need to live up to standards.

Tinubu won't borrow money from IMF to feed anybody ass or to run government.

He would generate the money to build our requiref infrastructure internally.

Even tho, I'm very sure Tinubu will increase the minimum wage soon because there are already some negotiations about it.

hasn't he borrowed? he removed subsidy yet borrowing, where are the gains of subsidy removal? we kept on hearing 'he will' so increasing minimum wage will stabilize economy, when naira is already useless, the ruling class are united but the masses are not, they keep on using ethnicity, religion to divide us, until we masses are united against these ruiners, Nigeria can't move an inch.

Isiguzoro should go and sit down. This statement is not needed. And, he hasn't communicated why Igbos are silent correctly. As an Igbo, I don't believe that Ọhaneze represents my interest.

In this talk, they were spot on.

If the igbos protest, it will reestablish the core north and arabic sw alliance. The crux of their alliance is igbo observation and containment.

Ohaneze needs to focus on igbo unity, it is a trying time for us and the whole Nigeria. Igbos have been divided, decimated, purposely suppressed in all avenues, for too long. We feel like unwanted visitors in Nigeria This kind of suffer is not new to us. A United Humble Igbo tribe is the main thing we need as a tribe. And to defend against those that seek our genocide anywhere in Nigeria. The unity will help in the progress for the tribe as a whole. We can't tell what's next. The core north can wake up one day and secede to Niger republic.

DohFahSo:
Yorubas should protest. Some of them voted because of tribalism. Now, the same people who foisted their lord on all of us are the same people shouting "ebin pa wa". When they sold their votes for bread and oil, they didn't know that they were eating tomorrow's food today abi. Rubbish. Leave the Igbos out of your mess and clean it up.

Before you quote me, I'm a Yoruba man.

I was ashamed of Sanwo Olu during this election period. APC thugs were beating and harassing Igbos to vote for APC. They wounded some of my Igbo friends, beat some, stopped many from voting. Actions always have consequences. Now, the country is in disarray and you're calling on the Igbos that you refused the right to vote. Ai sinle ologbo, ile di'le ekute.

Modified: Some people have started calling me ipob, just because I said the truth. Please, didn't many Yorubas in Lagos, Osun and Ibadan vote APC because "Omo wa ni"? They've called me "Omo ale" just because I chose not to vote for evil. They've called me ipob, not understanding that my lineage is deeply Yoruba to the past 200 years. Okan yin o ni bale.

Do we actually need to protest? Of course not, because we knew this day would come and we prepared for it.
Ironically those who saw BAT as Messiah are now the ones complaining bitterly and protesting.
Lest I forget, one demented old fool who campaigned against GEJ when things were easier, couldn't campaign again now that things have grown from bad under Bubu,to worse under BAT.
