You have a point but truth be told, most of “your own” will just take the money and not do the job. If they even attempt to do it, they do very low quality with no regards for health and safety, to maximise profits.

I know a State that started the idea of awarding all contracts to the indigenes and till today, they are yet to recover from the effect of that experiment.

There is WIKE, and then there is EVERYONE else. May God bless this man. He is never tired...from Rivers to FCT. Can we make him Minister of Power and remove the one afraid to do interviews?
