I said this because I figured you couldn't have been in Nigeria where ,everyday we hear fulani herdsmen feeling farm crops yo their cows and when farmers confronted them, they get hacked down.
All over the South and the Middlebelt, farmers are being threatened off their farms by fulanis with AK47s. Our compromised useless govt called it farmers-herders clash but unfortunately only farmer's bodies we see but no fulanis' corpse.

The OP is right. Forget politics and think for a second. Hunger is real in the land, and it does not matter what political party you voted for.

That you live inside an Ogun village and source your food in the forests like wild animal doesn't mean all Nigerians should live like you.
