I'm thinking of moving to Portugal from Malta with my fiancee, Canada is too expensive. But I have the D7 in mind since I am a Digital nomad here.
D7 isnt for digital nomad but D8. Is your fiancee a digital nomad too? Or how do you intend to move with her? And here was I thinking Malta would be better than portugal as a nomad.

Don't Digital nomad here is a maximum of 3 years and if you get work permit and get sacked, you will have 10 days to find another.

that's harsh. It's better you move. You'll need to show sufficient proof of income to go into portugal with a dependant. Just got your email too

I'm working on my agency and building some products, by God's grace I will make the money it's 3040$ euro per applicant and 350$ per spouse, luckily I only have 1 spouse, and it's to show for 3 months, I can make that, I just need the following:

1. Upwork consistency
2. Remote Job
3. Agency and Consultation
4. Selling a digital product

It's tough but it's doable

okay .you might need to check the requirements again. Portugal's minimum wage has increased( from 760 to 820 euros) . This means that the minimum monthly income has increased too since the minimum income is 4times Portugal's minimum wage, this brings it to around 3280 euros. All the best brother

How do I approach banks for POF purpose? I've seen a lot of people advertising POF service online but I'm scared of it not being genuine enough. Can I approach my bank for this purpose or not all banks render this service? Please help with answers.

If you approach your bank ,they will still refer you back to those companies advertising POF you av come across...why don't you engage some of them before concluding that they are not genuine..

If you plan coming to Portugal for studies make sure you acquire a vocational skill such as plumbing, carpentry, bricklaying etc. You can easily get something to do while schooling with such skills.

Work permit after studies is not really an issue but with availability of jobs. Those with IT skills are able to get paid employment easier.

Most schools in portugal don't require that you pay school fees. Like universidade de aveiro(my school)
Universidade de evora
Universidade do Porto
Universidade de lisboa
Universidade de coimbra.

Infact, de are many. The one that requires you to pay is IPB, and its just the first month because in Portugal, one can pay installmentally. I mean every month, you divide the school fees into 10 equal parts. It's a good place to study

Drop your s for me bro. And what are the process pls

For anyone who wants to migrate to portugal through study. The first thing you should do is to
1. Apply to the school (you must have searched out the school you feel that you can afford) and wait for names to be published. Once your name comes out, then you can the begin the real process.

Next is to
Take all educational certificate to the Ministry of education and foreign affairs (both can be done same day, for those who stays outside Abuja.

When you are thru there, you will then begin with the embassy
At the embassy, you will have to do the verification process when you submit your documents(Result) there. The embassy will send your documents to NUC, then the NUC will then send it to your school, then when the school finishes, the school will send it back to NUC, then NUC will send it to the Embassy. If everything goes well, it is then that the embassy will give you a call to come and apply.

what you need are
1. a valid port (make copies of the data page when going there)
2. a completed application form (you can watch my video on my youtube channel (How to fill out Portugal visa application )
3. two coloured port photographs
4. copy of the school certificates that was authenticated(stamped) at the foreign affairs. For those who did their BSc outside Nigeria, you have to get from the country where you finished from
5. Acceptance letter from the school you applied in Portugal
6. Evidence of accommodation in Portugal ( you can go to booking.com and do that, then later cancel it or you request from the school you applied to, they might help you)
7. Proof of financial capability

You can as well go online, all are listed there. You will see all

I hope it helps

Thank you so much. This information is !

Hello gurus in the house,

Please kindly assist I have a few questions

1. I got an ission for masters programme in Portugal for September they have asked me to pay the registration fee which is about 500 euros plus another 600 as the first installment of the tuition fees before the 23rd, and only after that will they issue me the ission letter. Is this a normal process?

2. I am Nigerian, I live in Lagos but I have a UK BSc. The university did not ask me for legalization for the application or registration process, do I still need to legalise and authenticate at the embassy for visa application. If so, how do i go about it?

4. What other documents will I need verification and legalization for?

5. I had a change of name years back, do I need to and legalise these documents i.e. the affidavit for change of name and the newspaper public notice at MOE and MoFA and embassy for visa application?

5. Please kindly help me outline the up to date visa process if I want to do it myself. Including timelines if possible.

6. How much do I need to have as proof of funds and for how many months? Will N8m suffice? Can I use a company as a sponsor if my own does not have enough?

Thank you so much in anticipation for your answers.
