There are some skills on upwork that are already saturated ( too many freelancers have the skill) , my advice to you is to learn a skill that's uncommon then create your profile using that skillset, there are high chances upwork will approve the , when they do, update your profile with your main skillset. I am a software developer and some of the skills that i know aren't saturated on upwork are :- machine learning, deep learning, rust, julia, R. I know it's not easy learning this languages but you can create an upwork with this languages the day you start to learn them ( then update your profile later to reflect your strong hold)

Upwork is one of the best freelancing platforms i have come across, in the past i tried fiverr, peopleperhour but bleh.

Search for his name on Twitter, although he sells a course but the free advice is enough to get by, the main thing with Upwork is upskilling, only uou can teach yourself with YouTube, waiting for a mentor is a waste of time, else you'll end up buying their courses , which is not bad if you have money to spare.

It would've been easier if Grey and Geegpay are local banks but I advised them.not.to.leave money there. The money is losing value everyday. Do you think a dorm with one of our banks here like GT, First Bank, etc will be better for now?
And should the person save in USD or GBP?
This is the value of 5 million naira now, not even up to 2,700 pounds.

You can open Access Bank USD and store your money there , really sorry about that, because saving in Naira loses value these days.

Sir based on you lived in lagos, I think the pay is even much if 300 for current exchange rate is a salary.

Here in the north where I stay, a salary of 200k is gold (but not rare though)

U will be a king with a 500k salary here.

I now earn more than even my mom a level 12 staff in one state government. Not because I worked harder but because of the naira depreciation.

Yeah, I didn't see a decline in jobs as expected. Recent clients I've worked with even use AI checkers.
