The enemy is usually far away and bullets hardly hit their targets. Go watch footage of war and not video games

Each battleground and each front is different but combatants do come face to face with the enemy. Not far away at all, but close enough to shoot to kill. For example, if troops are commanded to hold their position no matter what - then close combat is inevitable and that's how combatants die in trenches - from rifle fire.

Evidence of a poorly trained and ill equipped army with no binoculars to even see the positions of their colleagues and the enemy. How It's a pity.

I agree with you and even if that isn't the case, they have to to back to the drawing board. They lacked co-ordination. In a war front, flouting the minutest instruction could cost the lives of all the soldiers.

Don't know what kind of equipment is used in this video but yes - audio/video equipment is used in battle. For example, some helmets and other kit/gear worn by combatants do have built in cameras. Tanks also have audio/video equipment.
