The officer looked at him and got convinced.

He said, some of the other guys were taken to the room for deportation. Some of them were Nigerians and they were already crying.
My guy was freed and he has since been living there.

Oga i have been in the united states for some years. Even 2 years green card holders get scrutinized sometimes when they trying to come into the states back not to talk of visa holders. Immigration officers know all the games played from citizens of various countries. A 2 year green card holder was deported and his green card canceled cos he was in Nigeria to see his original wife and kids, and he had pictures on conversations on his phone, meanwhile he had a wife here he married for green card. Like i said. Dey play, no listen to advice. You never travel before u go dey argue with people wey don travel. Again try and watch border security or airport security in National Geo. I saw a Nigerian guy deported live on TV. Claimed to be coming for a conference and all that, after scrutinizing his phone and calling the place he claimed to work. Guy, forget that right BS at the port of entry. A valid visa does not guarantee you entery. An immigration officer at his discretion can cancel your visa at the port if entery for any reason. And yes they can check your phone and strip u to make sure u are not carrying anything illegal. Try to watch border security or airport security on Nat Geo. I am sure they have episodes on you tube too.
