I was trying to plug my xiaomi android tv box to Sun king solar tv because there’s a space you can connect decoder . After when I connected it , it doesn’t come up again.! I tried to plug it on electricity but it didn’t on still. Pls any help ?

My guy smell the power plug. reason I stopped with MiTV box.

All this devices come with their power ratings. They dnt need much power neither do they need less power. This device simply needed just 5v 2ah. But you have plugged it on 5v 12ah. Hopefully it's not too fried that it cnt be fixed in Nigeria. How did you connect it? Using the power cord or a USB CORD?

I used cord specially design for plugging decoder beside Sun king solar tv .

Ok, let me tell you what you did wrong because of next time, the tv box is rated 5v2a, while decoder is 12v1.5a-2a, you can't use a higher volt DC to power a lower volt, that's why you burnt the tv box, the amps doesn't matter but the volt does. Anything solar without proper regulator will always burn fragile low-power devices like tv box because the power fluctuates. Assuming it's NEPA light the box might not even get burnt. The repair is 50/50 if you happen to give a quack and they mess it up just say bye-bye.

Forget it, the worst is that the Mi box has an 80% chance of also being damaged. The same thing happened to me bought over 3 different power plugs, but no effect. I just abandoned it in my wardrobe.

Yes I think ,, but how to know where to get them is the problem. I even called xiaomi office , they said I should return it to where I bought it . And you know all these retailers won’t collect it

I need someone to refer me where I can do it

You should have gottent a phone USB port that has 1.8amp mouth and plug it on the phone port of the Sun king Solar. This is because the TV box volt is 5 volt 2amps while the Sun Solar port for phone is 5volt 1.8 amps. It will work perfectly. But I guess u plug it on the other ports that have 12 volts .
