My thoughts exactly just finally watched ep 8 and I am so disappointed. I mean they did so well but fail to stick the landing. They totally forgot Nynaeve and all the character development she had all season only for her to be extremely useless in finale. Why build her up if you won't stick the landing?

How did the Ogier and the others get freed? Lets not even talk about Ishamael reminds me of the night king in GOT. Again you built the forsaken up to be one thing then you just killed Ishamael like that? Its like different writers came in at the end.

Season 2 had a lot of good moments but they struggle weave it all together in the end. The finale felt too rushed, and all over the place. Still a Lanfear stan though, shes the best part of the show for me.

Hopefully they do better in s3. Definitely an upgrade from season 1 but still room for improvement.

Finished Ashoka and The Continental during the weekend and then jumped into Loki. Hoping Pantheon season 2's limited release finds its way to the high seas ASAP

That last episode was just all over the place.
And just as you said, I really want to see more of Lanfear. I like Ishamael too and I'm just hoping that's not his end

A kids centric animated series which nevertheless was interesting. Good humor, nice light-hearted tone, good cliffhanger although with questionable plotlines... questionable plotlines I have chosen to overlook due to its "made for children" status.

I've noticed a lot of Palestinians the Eren and Floch in AOT. They always be like, you would what Eren was doing if you lived in a similar situation in real life...

All over tiktok, Twitter and Reddit, these guys can't keep fiction out of a real war...

And they ignore one of the main themes of AOT about how there is no objectively right side in war...every group believes they are in the right and the others are wrong...and everyone has different perspectives and as long as people hold on to these unbending beliefs there will always be human conflict

You beat me to it. Though I was going to compare it to Gojo fight against Mahito, Hanami & Choso. Hamas has taken hostages, does that stop Israel from raining missiles on Gaza: of cause not. Israelis would be fools to hesitate or show weakness.

Again Gojo’s idealism has no place in the real world (talk less his own more brutal anime world). Paradox of tolerance is real and very unforgiving.

I had to skip the Nynaeve scene in the last episode. I was just shaking my head. With all the talk of the power she had.

According to the books, she still has a lot of role to play, alongside egwene and elayne trakand. Her character development is just rather slow.
